Has anyone identified the FD incident channel groups? Also, are tones being transmitted on main dispatch channel or a separate one?

I heard them early this morning, but did not catch if they were still on the old system. I caught them on the 154.445.

I'd fair to wager that if you continued in sequence from the first fire dept talkgroup, you'd have the rest of them, thats typically how these towns go.

It looks like Fire department using apx 8000 from what I can see on Facebook VHF UHF 700 800 MHz antenna and see 19412 pop up when someone said say ops one I couldn’t get audio out of it. I’m not in the area.

19410 - Newington FD Tones
19411 - Newington FD OPS 1
19412 - Newington FD OPS 2
19413 - Newington FD FG 3

I am hearing a dispatch pre-alert on 19401, followed by a full dispatch on 19411. I also hear reference to Ops1/Ops2/Incident1/Incident2 and no audio. Either no one keyed up or they could be operating in P25 talk around mode...

I hear nothing when they go to ops either. They might be using a low band fireground channel like before.

They ran a fire call at 4:43 this afternoon and it worked fine. Voice on mobiles and dispatcher on OPS 1 came through properly. They are a low priority on my DSDPlus so not all comms were complete but seems OK from here.
The 19401 is likely an Announcement group for all the fire groups. That way if there is someone on a different fire TG, they get notified of the calls.
The Fire Groups have NO ENCRYPTION active on them.
If you are not hearing them, check your programming of whatever you are monitoring with.

I'm using search on a BCD 536 on the New Britain site. Maybe I need to try the Hartford site.

The Hartford site might be your best chance because it is not simulcast. I am not sure if the NFD group is carried on it but could be. The 536 is not the best receiver for the P25 Phase 2 simulcast systems.

I do pick them up on the Hartford site as well. I should have said I do pick them up on the 19411 ops 1 and heard them on 19412 ops 2 with no issue. As well as the police and EMS with no issues. It's once they get on scene I stop hearing them. But I will hear them give the dispatch an update as well as them returning on ops 1. That makes me think they go to a low band once on scene like with their old system. I'm also located in Newington at the New Britain line. I also never had a simulcast issue with the 536 on the New Britain or Hartford sites.
