Maybe you are getting the paging system confused with the trunk.
And the paging sites should all be online soon.
First, let me extend an olive branch, lol. When we left here last night we were surrounded by Motorola techs still tweaking the system. We were told that we're still only simulcasting off of 10 towers. The county was waiting for the remaining 14 FCC licenses for those remaining towers. Well, those licenses came in last night. Yes, I was referring to paging/dispatch, not the trunked system. So, with that being said all 24 towers could be simulcasting right now.

I think our definitions of simulcast are different here. Your original post from this morning stating they are only simulcasting off of 10 towers could really steer people in the wrong direction.
There are two different Simulcast systems that play a role in the upgrade. One is the 24 Site 7/800 MHz TDMA Trunked Simulcast System. All sites are up and running.
The other simulcast system is the 22 Site VHF Simplex Voted Simulcast Paging System. 10 are online with the others coming online shortly (I would assume).
How were the Motorola Guys up there to deal with?
Um, I work here. Only 10 towers are up, trust me. Just passing along some information that I thought others would be interested in knowing. Never made reference to "equipment related issues".
... location, location, location... because of the LSM situation and no scanner being able to handle it in every location throughout the system there will be mixed results no matter what... just to confirm my APX 7000 works perfectly on the new system throughout eastern and northern Mercer County and NE Philly with a non affiliated scan... if you need dependable performance in a mobile application to do your job as I do it's the only way to go but there are some measures to take to help improve your lot and to those who are having no issues (like Bensalem near the tower) with the stock antenna consider yourselves very lucky... have a good day all... Bob...
I see a few of you have radios that don't seem to be officially on the system. How are those programmed? Do you need any special info just to monitor? Or is it just a matter of ponying up the dough?
Also, there are other manufacturers that offer Phase 2 radios. Has anyone that just wants to monitor tried anything else besides Motorola?
Does anybody know if Fire Central will be rebroadcast from Doylestown on 153.905 (old Fire North rebroadcast freq.)? I heard radio techs doing testing on Sunday night (sounded good), but this freq. has been silent since. Thanks.
Sounds like they have activated the rest of the paging simulcast sites.
Anyone know the frequencies to the new fire ground channels i know each band has their own now. and thank god that annoying beep is gone when keying up with the new system on fire ground channels.
Why did that occur with the old one? it never did that before til recently.
Click on Reference Database on the RadioReference.com homepage, click on Pennsylvania on the map, click on Bucks County on the next map you see and the first table you see has the new fireground channels (they are the 700 MHz frequencies.)
Those are the response channels, Iam looking for the fire ground talk channels.
What is a 'response channel'? They are described as 'Direct'. Thanks.
Response channels are on the trunked system. There are also fireground channels on there and the "direct" simplex channels. The simplex channels are only allowed 2 watts of power so don't expect to hear too much usage on them.
