I wonder if any of the locations In Bell county will be upgraded? The only site I still see is Belton.

From the looks of things on the FCC website, the request to add the P25 emissions to Belton was just submitted this week, so it likely will be in the next wave in the coming months. There's no activity pending for the Temple site's license, so that's not in play as of yet.

Over 20 more applications were filed yesterday. I didn't check all of them but that probably includes the entire system. Most of their licenses cover multiple sites.

On all the other sites the RFSS and Site Number are the same. Are you sure it wasn't 207.207 or 217.217?
I thought it was odd as well. Checked with both DSD and SDRtrunk. Both show 217.207
That's got to be a misconfiguration, especially for a Harris system. This should be corrected by Harris at some point. However, we will post what we have.

Looks like that Oncor is recycling their old frequencies for the new P25 system. I noticed that 939.6875 (was Oncor EDACS system for Copperas Cove) is active now as a P25 ststem. Or should I say this could be Copperas Cove.

It's not Belton. None of the frequencies are licensed there.
It's either Prairie Dell or Clifton. All three frequencies are the only ones at those sites.
Probably Prairie Dell. I am in Killeen. I finally confirmed the Copperas Cove site to the reference here in the database.

In this area of Texas I had noticed over the years that the ammount of radio traffic deminished over the old EDACS system to the point no traffic at all from the locations I can hear. Now with the new P25 system rolling out I still dont see any noticable radio traffic. I woulder how are the crews communicating? Cell Phones?
Perhaps they tried PTT over LTE and discovered that maintaining their own system was more cost-effective and more reliable.

For 177.177, Ben Wheeler is licensed for 935.475 and is 24 mi from Tyler, vs Rusk which is 42 mi from Tyler. Although Rusk could still be correct as there are no other sites (directly between) Tyler and Rusk.
Something doesn't sound right for at least one of those two though.

115.115 is definitely Kennard. It is deep in the national forest and 900 MHz doesn’t travel well there. I drove right through Kennard and could only hear it for maybe 10 miles. As for Tyler showing up as a neighbor, it definitely does to Kennard. I thought the same thing that it was odd but that’s what DSD reported.
