Yes, I just finished flashing the device (and I did get your email to which I was about to reply.). Reverting to Version 2022-06-30_1531 seems to have fixed the issue so far. I've tested the powered speakers via the audio jack and through the PC's audio system, and the produced audio sounds similar, which is good. I also tested the Bluetooth wireless speaker which also sounds good. I'm listening off and on while working, but it appears the firmware was the issue - you might want to pull the version I was using. Thanks for addressing this issue.

Now my next request - is there any way to increase the size (length) of the Alpha Tag field displayed at the bottom of most tabs? Most of my tags are in full words and not acronyms, lol.

Thanks for verifying. I'll back off the audio AGC gain in the scanning version of the software. Not sure why it works on the PC playback for you, but not 3.5mm / Bluetooth. It uses the same audio AGC.

I had mentioned this issue a few weeks ago in another thread, and a user chimed in with the same issue, so I don't think it was limited to me. Also, I could duplicate the issue on two separate (overprovisioned) host computers.

email sent with link. Let me know if this updated audio AGC code works better for you. (latest audo AGC code from MicroP25RX). If this fixes it, I will get it added to the web site. Thanks.

Yeah, that was me. I'm also the one guy who had the issue that caused Todd to create ADV_BTCFG-II-2022-09-02_0639.

That's the version that produces the warbly audio for me. I don't necessarily need a "scanning" capability, so reverting to the 30 June firmware is not an issue for me.

Reverting to the June release is the best solution for now.

Hey Todd... back to 09-02_2022... really sounding great! Today and next couple days we have bad winter weather here, so there's more NBFM analog traffic that usual (snowplows). Is there any keyword for the display setting that would let me display the agency name? The Channel Config tab has a "Desc" field... can that be displayed instead of the TG alias for analog objects?

$SYS_NAME$ will display the "Desc" field.

@maus92,
This thread is for the P25RX and not the P25RX-II. They are very different with regards to firmware. I will create a separate firmware thread for the P25RX-II, but please contact me directly via email for now. I have received very little feedback on the P25RX-II until today. It is apparent that there are some firmware issues. I'm working on it. I would rather work on this via email for now.
I would love to see a the thread for the P25RX-II. I just acquired one a few weeks ago. Thank you.

Todd, Have you come up with a fix yet for the "Unknown Talkgroup" continuous flashing? I have to go back to version 2022-08-15 for it to operate normal. I put up a video of this phenomenon. Too big to email it. I don't know if I am the only user having this problem. It might be the simulcast system I monitor causing it? But , as I said, when I revert to an earlier version it doesn't happen. I switched around to different tabs when making the video in case there are things you may see that will help in solving.
