There is a post from 7/27 that mentions PennDOT comms in the clear. Are you hearing those in Warren?

I set up the Chautauqua system in a new favorites list by appending it from the database. For some reason it only seems to be scanning the Simulcast site from the system, and nothing else. How do I get my 436 to do ID scanning of the whole system?
When I stop scanning by pushing CHAN, I can scroll thru all the TG ID's of the system. But when I go back to scanning, the display just shows SIMULCAST.

While it's scanning, that's all it will show. It's monitoring the control channel for the TGID's you want to hear, and only will display those TGID's when the "squelch breaks" on one of those.
When you hold on a TGID (by pressing "CHAN"), it simply just displays the TGID that you want preference on. It's still "scanning" the control channel - it simply just breaks the squelch when the TGID that you are "holding" on becomes active.

Here's what I found out about the Erie County testing from the 911 Center. Guess we have a few more weeks to get ready:
"It is currently under deployment in Erie Co. with testing scheduled to start in October. There will be P25 stations located at the 911 center, at Presque Isle on the state tower, and eventually at the PSP Corry Remote site on the outskirts of Corry. Initially the system will be used primarily by PSP, but as the system is built out and capacity is added, other state agencies will be allowed to use it, including DCNR and Game Comm."

154.935 now has data on it, assuming to be p25 p2 as my p1 scanner can't decode it
What scanner? Is it a model that works with Unitrunker? If you can feed the control channel to Unitrunker, you can get all the pertinent info for the site.
my scanner is a 396t , and my usb port on the side is broken. completely disconnected from the board.

What are the frequencies for Allegheny County and Westmoreland Counties? I will program them into my 436HP and keep a listen on them.
Won't be any expansion into that area until some time next year at the earliest.
correction my 396 now shows DAT and LNK now that I've turned off the ctcss scanner and properly programmed the correct system into it
was out driving around today unfortunately without the digital scanner but heard the cc on 154.935 and more digital on the other 2 154.325 and 154.205. believe they were testing or had traffic but without the digi scanner i have no clue. if anyone else in venango would like to give it a listen and chime please do!!

I'm getting a Cw id on 154.935 here in north Versailles.
If you are hearing that frequency off of the Derry site, it's been active (CW ID nothing else) for some time now

I'm not the forums administrator. I requested several times for the forum admins to merge the two threads. The only reason I suggested the other thread as the primary is because the title is clearer as to the contents.
I also requested that it be pinned at the top so folks can find it easier. That also hasnt been done. So, I don't know if I am doing these requests incorrectly, or what.
At any rate, I will be uploading a spreadsheet to the other thread shortly. I'd like to get the info into the wiki, but I also don't know how to convert a spreadsheet into wiki format.
For the record, the database administration is a separate function from the forums administration and the wiki is open to all to contribute. I am hardly the overloard,
