So very sorry to hear this. I wish their was something I could do besides say that I’m very sad for his family. We have all lost a great friend. Rest easy Paul!

This news hit me really hard. For one thing, he was too young. No one should have to endure the stuff he did as he explained in his blog. He sure did give it a good old college try. :(

Thank you for sharing. RIP Paul.

We all respected Paul for work done for this niche group. During his illness Paul still wrote with humor, and kept us aware of his situation.

He will be missed in his industry, the hobby, his family, and right here. He had remarkable courage in his fight. RIP

I had a chance to meet Paul a couple of times at trade shows like APCO/IWCE when Uniden used to have a booth (might even go back to the trunkedradio.net days). It was great to chat with him and learn that he was on RR as well. Truly someone who was in touch with his market and wanted people to be happy with what he was creating. You just don't find people with that that ability these days. Truly a loss to the community as a whole. My heart goes out to his family, colleagues, and loved ones. Hopefully they get to see what people post here to know how much we loved him too.

I’m so sorry to read this news. I had a digital scanner question many years ago and e-mailed Uniden Product Support. Paul personally gave me a phone call and discussed the issue. I was blown away at that personal and professional support. I have learned through the subsequent years that indeed that was Paul. RIP my friend you will be missed. The hobby has lost a great man.

R.I.P. Paul.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the great things you've done not only for Uniden, but for the scanner community as a whole. You will be missed, but not forgotten.
