PulsePoint in Palm Beach County, FL

I’m fairly new to PulsePoint and I’m hoping that someone can answer some questions:

1. Is there a database where I can see definitions for the codes that are used? (Some are obvious, such as BC42, E45, R45, etc but there are some that I don’t understand - such as F00, 258, 262, CT6, BRM6 - to name a few).

2. The app seems to allow audio notifications of some incidents but not others. For example I receive audio notifications of traffic accidents, structural fires, etc. but not for fire alarms or public assistance. Is there somewhere that I can adjust these settings?

Some of the other unit alias codes you just have to figure out from context. It would be nice if PulsePoint could filter them out since they seem to keep an incident hanging around for a day or more on the Active Incidents tab when it's a fire inspector or notification alias for like FP&L or the like. Checking PBC just now I see no lingering calls this morning, so maybe this is yet another attempt at that effort?

1. There is no list, because codes are different in different agencies, just like ten codes are different in different agencies and states (in NC state highway patrol has one set Raleigh another). I would check with a local scanner group in your area or maybe someone in the area will see this.

2. The notifications and agencies are dependent on the agencies that sign up for the system usage, not all agencies are on it and the ones that are decide if they want voice or just text, and what type of calls have an exact address vs just a street name.

The fact is in Florida we use a statewide standard list of radio codes, signals and 10 codes.

While there is a STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT 10-CODES not all codes of every agency is 100% identical. LAKE COUNTY TEN CODES do have a few differences in codes, such as 10-49. However, OP was asking more about definitions for the unit codes that are used in Pulse Point rather than ten codes, and my explanation was more about an example not a definitive statement. But I certainly understand what you were saying and the wiki is always a place to start.

Last time I listened to Dade County they were using “Q” codes.

PBCFR, who provides the dispatch services for themselves and numerous municipalities in PBC, is very selective on what they send to PulsePoint.
