Radio decision.....help me.

I am ready to pull the trigger on a new mobile unit, maybe two. I have two Uniden I have had good luck with and now need to upgrade to digital. I have a handheld RS 96 that works so-so but the sound sucks in a mobile setting.
With money aside, which is the best overall for AWINS. I have looked at a few, just need to make a choice based on someone that has been there and tried several.

I like the PSR600 way of memory management better. But for ease of use, bigger screen, the Uniden 996 is going to be the way to go.
