Poking around the 421 band and saw that Caledon site is ISOLATED

Maybe they are doing some site maintenance. That's usually what happens. They set it so any units will not affiliate to it, or roam to it.

I just tried Cornwall 1.88 it is weak here in Ottawa south east area, but can be decoded.

Looks like the KIDs rolled on the first. 1017 is now KID 201B. If I can ask the membership to dedicate monitoring for 1 day on their local tower(s) and share the Groups data. I hope to be able to get some of the new KIDs. This will help us map out the KID groupings. It looks like grouping A is all TG 1000-1299. Grouping C is TG 47xx Grouping B is 46xx.

This is the current TG list. Several new TGs have been seen. I am starting to see the occasional 3 digit TG popup. You will notice I have added historical KID hits as well as a monthly KID value. This should help us track rare TG hits.

I'm monitoring Site 111 Toronto South and am seeing a new undocumented neighbour for Toronto.
Site 109 (421.1625) I can't monitor that one from Toronto, so maybe someone outside of the GTA can track that one down. There is a Site 106 in an unknown location using 421.1625

It's not a neighbour for Toronto Pearson, Toronto West, Toronto East, King City, Caledon.

Not seen on Woodstock, London city or south, Cambridge or Brantford. No signal on 421.1625. Will check later tonight when RF conditions improve.

TG 4601 new KID = 132B up +1 from last month. Interesting that the dispatch RID is bouncing between 132A and 132B. This leads me to believe that the old KID is used or kept in the mobiles memory as a back up incase the new KID is not uploaded.

Looking through this wiki article and neighbor lists, I can confidently say I identified the Bowmanville site. Bowmanville use to use G4 frequency 421.8125 and site 123 now uses it. Also, site 123 neighbours are Toronto East and Whitby.

With 421.1625, either sites 106 or 109 could be the itinerant Transportable Site as it was used for 36F in the past. Site 109 currently shows as Failed and Isolated.

In regards to talkgroups here in Toronto, the most hits appear on 1017, 1020, 1269, 1270, and 4701.

Some crazy stuff. I watched (Site 109) 421.1625 transition from Failed, Isolated, to Failed, to now 421.1375 Failed, Isolated. And now after [SYSTEM] did some work. (Site 109) is back to 421.1625 on line.

Looks like 421.1375 will be one of the SCC. My guess is 109 will be a filler site to improve coverage in a previously poor area.

In regards to talkgroups here in Toronto, the most hits appear on 1017, 1020, 1269, 1270, and 4701.

What's your hit counts on those.. Out here in Hamilton I see 1017-1020 (520/1233/1777/2298 hits respectively) as well as 1207, 1209, 1212, 1215 (23/9/241/16 hits) and 1279 with 104 and 4601 (128 hits) and 4701 (13 hits).

I am seeing 109 (currently on 421.1625) as a neighbour of Hamilton.. I wonder if this is maybe the updated Walsh site (36F-028)?

Also, Cambridge (122) has dropped 95(Hamilton) as a neighbor yesterday. I suspect they will be adding 109 in its place. I expect Woodstock (85) to add 109 to its neighbor list. Brantford (76) should follow Cambridge and drop 95 while adding 109.

Here are the general TG /RID pairings I have logged.

RCMP Dispatch = RID 101xxx
TG 1xx , 1xxx, 12xx = RID 426xxx
TG 3xx , 488xxx = RID 450xxx
TG 46xx = RID 250xxx and 251xxx
TG 47xx = RID 257xxx

I see more TG have been added to the Database. Where we able to get any of the matching KID's? If we can map out the general pattern of the KID's it can be added to the wiki and we can then forget about them for the time being.

Anything I can monitor in Toronto, is marked GTA. Anything monitored in Toronto plus further out is marked, Ontario. Others were marked Ottawa, King City, Hamilton, Windsor if their hits were recorded there. With kid's I've seen 201A and 201B mostly. I will have to pour over some data a little more.
