Recent Fed Band Findings

I had some time on a quick work visit in the DMV area and would like to share some of my findings:

All IWN sites (BF58A.010) have been migrated to the JIWN (BEE0A.715) system, there are no BF58A.010 control channels heard in the area.

The unidentified BEE00.680 system seems to be no longer on the air. At least one of the frequency (407.4375) was reassigned to NASA Goddard

Another unidentified BEE00.6FB system can be picked up weakly around the Gravelly Point area, one of the frequency is shared with the US Holocaust Memorial System and I cannot pick up DMR bursts on the two identified frequencies. Anyone who is in the area to see if the 6FB system is indeed US Holocaust Memorial System would be appreciated

Still cannot pin down where BEE00.A49 system is. It is very weak by Gravelly Point

6FB is certainly not based in DC. It is full strength in Loudoun County.

also of note, YMMV 97% of my finds on those freqs has been DoE with only a couple of exceptions

Thanks - I guess the next mission is what facility has enough radio traffic that warrants a 5 channels trunked system in Loudoun County !

I realize this is an old thread, but just wondering if there is any traffic on the JWIN system in the DMV area?
