Hearing radio checks on TG 10119 on Site 136 IGC North Tower.

Base is 4910336
Callsigns are 2200s, 2400s, 2600s.
Field units 94120##s

Sounds like a hospital security.
They mentioned Healthnet at 1801 N Senate which is on IU Hospital Campus.

Must be IU Health PD.

I was curious about that also, but from a previous thread, IUPD unit numbers are in the hundreds; 200, 300, 400, etc..

Iuh dps. Not iupd. IUH DPS is 4 digit, IUPD 3 digits. This confirms what one of them was saying at lunch other day. All IUH DPS will be able to talk to each other statewide. So they now have SAFE-T access just like IUPD. With IUH DPS, the unit numbers usually indicate which facility they patrol. Like IU Methodist would be 2200 series, Riley 2300, University 2400 etc... Though that will change as the new facility is brought online because it is replacing both the Current Methodist, and University hospitals to form a new facility that will be IUH Indianapolis. The current Methodist facility is going to get remodel and new use.

I have a feeling this will be one of a few on SAFE-T, and main will be MESA For Indy. Not sure if this will be the statewide or just one of a few regional like IUPD has. Also will submit corrections for IUPD and others on MESA soon.

The list of IUH locations is fairly lengthy ranging from Monticello to Paoli. https://iuhealth.org/find-locations

It would be a real find to nail down all of the location prefixes that are used on the radio, though I imagine that some of the smaller facilities may not have their own security on-site.

IUH has private security at some facilities in addition to their own Department of Public Safety officers. Here in the metro Indy area, the private security guards are used at the secondary facilities, and DPS patrols the primary facilities. DPS will respond to any facility if needed. The Indy DPS HQ is behind Methodist currently.

Most of the time locations are in plain speech, no prefixes used. So it's going to be up to local folks knowing what each facility building is, and street address mentioned. Like if 2413 says he is going out on foot at the Cancer Pavillion, and it's known that TCP is part of IUH Methodist by Joe Bubba who is local, they can submit updates and we be good! Or someone could do the wiki thang?

Great info! So do you think this just just a backup or statewide talk group and they'll go back to MESA?
So far it's looking like they are doing same thing that IUPD did going pure SAFE-T and doing radio changes. Then once IU finished its changes, they went back to using IUP-DSP1 on MESA. (Yes, the next 2 ch in the MESA line up are IUP-DSP2, and IUP-DSP3.) Looks like 2, and 3 are set up patches to Bloomington, and the regional dispatch on SAFE-T. The other 2 TG'S in the line up are IUP-EMG, and IUP-EHS. Those are for the IUPD ERT etc. (All five are not encrypted, they do have at least one encrypted TG on MESA. ) IUH, has IUH-DSP, and IUH-TAC as far as unencrypted on MESA, they also have an encrypted TG. I hope my friend will let me take a peek at his APX and see what the line up is for other SAFE-T IUH TG'S. IUH private security uses the DMR systems at the various facilities.

Late to the party... I am hearing them on the Dist 52 tower as well (FWIW). I had several of the RIDs already identified as IU Health PD (94120xx)

I heard them today on the Dist 52 tower call in a person shot at Wilson St & West 10th St. I came here to see if anyone else knew what 10119 was, but it seemed rather clear it was IU Health PD.

I'll check my log when I get home. I wouldn't be surprised if that's another Air Med channel.

I just checked my logs. I don't have any 10119 hits; but I do have a note on 10118 of a StatFlight hit. 10117 is the AirMed channel that Lutheran Air uses, and 10118 is likely another AirMed channel.

I suspect that IU West also is getting one for DPS, possibly IU North too.

Deleware County is using Locution on SAFE-T TG 10173 "Muncie Street Department Supervisor". The first time I heard it was earlier this week, but I didn't know which TG it was on. It looks like they may have repurposed this TG to public safety. More time is needed to confirm that.

Sound like Muncie fire, or county?
Medical calls in Muncie, but I haven't caught which depts or apparatuses they are dispatching. Muncie FD handles medical calls within the city, so I can only imagine that it would be for them. Also (historically), they dispatch specific units, i.e..Ambulance 6, Medic 2, Truck 7, Rescue 1, etc.... I've not heard any of these designations yet.

I'm hearing human dispatching for medical calls for Muncie FD, and Delaware county now. I've not heard the Locution disp on the Muncie scanner feed either. I listen to a neighboring site on SAFE-T most of the time, so I only hear that 10173 TG when it affiliates on a neighboring site. I believe the Disp RIDs on 10173 were, 18110 and 18113.

I am hearing patient reports being given today on HOSP N OPS3 to Marion Health East on the Marion Tower. That is the new hospital that opened today at State Road 22 and I69.
