I am on Third Avenue in Rensselaer, just down the hill from High Street.

System is a steady S2, as it has been since it first went live. Scanners & SDRs with DSDPlus cannot maintain a CC lock and I hear absolutely no traffic on the system from here.

Except for one repeater (the lowest frequency), I have had no trouble receiving the MultiNet system loud and clear from here.

SItes

There are 10 simulcast sites for 800 and paging.
Pinnacle is Microwave only and the tower at PSB infrastructure only.

Old system was originally 5, +1 about 10 years ago.

Probably a paperwork catch-up issue

Anyone know what the old LTR freq 857.4625 is being used for. Getting a pulse every 10 seconds. Is this an alternate possibly or something else? Other LTR's seem to be carrying voice.

The MultiNet system will remain on the air for at least several more weeks.

Other LTR channels (856.9625 and 857.9625 and maybe 856.4625) have been moved to the new p25 system and seem to be carrying voice for it.

County has 8 frequencies, right now 5 are assigned to the Motorola P25 system and 3 remain with the EFJ MultiNet.

P25 systems do not "pulse." You are seeing LTR blips.

There hasn’t been any law enforcement migration to the new system as of yet right?
Nevertheless, East Greenbush PD must have been issued new digital handsets because I’m seeing P25 traffic on their conventional frequency.

Correct, and East Greenbush operates on a section of TPD's 800 System.
The County has not established a timeline for migration of Law to the P25 800 system, but testing by individual agencies may start soon.

I've picked up 5 or 6 42xxxx radio ID's on my log which I suspect are Sheriff units. Didn't hear the traffic but due to limited hits I suspect its testing.

There was a tg that was showing 42xxxx I had decided that tg as 214 but I believe that was a parole or probation unit testing the system by the lingo and areas being called out
