Picked up one of these they seem like nice receivers for monitoring milband and airband traffic anyone own one? What kind of software can you use with these recievers, it also has a ethernet connection that can be used to send out IF incapsulated in IP packets it seems.
They come in 2 suit cases, one is the radio and battery pack etc. the other has different antennas in a pistol grip. Looks like something out of a spy movie. Super cool, especially for a movie prop etc.
Seems to do some interesting stuff like sweep 1.5Ghz a second and you can set it up to subtract existing activity and pop up new stuff not in what was baselined. Seems pretty slick for a 19 year old technology. I could only Imagine how nice the EB-500 must be, maybe in 20 years I can own one
