Let us know how it tracks... I'm just extrapolating, based on BM82557's post--we may need to tweak that 3rd table, but I think that's a good place to start.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but being a P25 System, wouldn't Uniden scanners automatically populate the tables?

Yes it does populate the tables if it hears the control channels.
Recently I heard TG 1802 Sounded like it had something to do with the freeway, maybe police.

Hearing a lot of traffic on talkgroups 8501 and 8553 sounds like ems on 8501 and law enforcement on 8553 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Also heard State Police Beckley advising units to use BSA Channel 36?

Talk Group IDS I have found

Is there any way you can determine who these talk group ids belong to, as I do not have the equipment to do so?
1. I have heard the following in Greenbrier Co WV. 5318, 5331, 5348, and 5349.

2. The following ids are associated with the Boy Scout jamboree in Fayette Co. WV. where president trump visited in Fayette Co. WV. They have the state police their and the WV. National Guard. I have never heard these ids before and I cannot find any in the WV list starting with 85. I have heard the following 8501, 8521, 8546, 8553.

3. I have also heard the following 5127, and I think it was 5623 ,the 5127 has to be Raleigh co. WV.

I live about 50 miles South of the NRAO Observatory at Greenbank WV.

8501 is Summit Bechtel Reserve EMS, 8553 is Summit Bechtel Reserve Security. I am assuming all 85** talkgroups are affiliated with the Summit Bechtel Reserve.

Today on the Berkeley Co. site I've been hearing TG 215 (Marion Co FD private) patched to TG 929 (Marion 911). I'm pretty sure it's related to the flooding.

I've never really heard any patches on this system before. I heard the traffic on my TRX1. While at the same time scanning the same site, nothing was heard on my 996XT.

Anyone have any idea why?

I received a report that indicates that site 1-048 Wardensville (Hardy) should be online. It has been added to the DB.

Site 1-026 (Romney) is listing it as a neighbor with a CC of 453.3625

If you're in the Wardensville area, please keep an eye out for this site and report any findings. If you live near any neighboring sites and can run Unitrunker / Pro96Com and get a list of peers/neighbors to see if there are any new peers/neighbors, that'd be great too.

They have other UHF frequencies licensed at that site that aren't licensed as trunked, and which are currently being used for remote links. One or more of those frequencies may / may not end up being added to the site once it is online as well.

It is real nice that they can add sites down south but not up here in Northern West Virginia for the ones who need it.

Josh,

Who needs sites in the NPWVA? Hancock Co? I haven't heard of any agencies in Hancock Co chomping at the bit to get on SIRN. And, lack of support by agencies within the county probably are part of the issue. I mean it's difficult to justify towers if nobody [but WVSP] is going to use them. And WVSP appears to get along just fine using whatever methods they have been using as of late (which are likely all 450 mhz frequencies / extenders on hills down to Moundsville).

I mean I think Hancock is just wrapped up so tight with a certain radio outfit that they probably feel that getting on SIRN would not only cost too much but not be of any additional benefit to them. Hancock Co seems to be loners.

At any rate, I know progress has been made on getting frequencies for the Weirton / Beaver Valley sites. They'll probably come online within the next year.

Well I know they have the radios and they are pissed they can't use them. I would think they should be using Ohio county at least but staleys says it would not work but who knows

I think I found the answer. In scanners have issues with patched TGs. Might be time to stop buying Uniden scanners.
