I don't see those listed in the Alphabetical listing, but scrolling up, B-Boy was used by the equipment officers, and the S-Sam designation was used by the Safety officers. You can edit the WiKi, but before removing anything I would post here in case it's used in a Troop you normally don't monitor. The radio ID list is very outdated, and probably with the exception of a small number of us (including myself), don't document the RID's.Why does the State agency ISP Unit Designators list Alphabetical display designators that are supposedly no longer used such a B and S and others

Long as the feed provider is close to the tower they use and have the TG in the feed then sure. With StarCom21 is it possible to listen to a feed without being range of towers in that county. For example, could I monitor NIU PD (DeKalb County) from Aurora IL (Kane County)?
Would I have to add the Kane County channels under my NIU Feed to hear them this far?
This question confuses me sounds like you're talking about broadcastify but you as well want to monitor them either way I'll give you my example. I'm in Kendall County and can reach the McHenry sim cast with my outdoor antenna. So yes If you have the range you can reach them especially if you are in Kane County. For broadcastify you just have to look at the description to see if that feed covers them I know there is a feed in DeKalb that dose have them as well as Broadcastify Calls. With StarCom21 is it possible to listen to a feed without being range of towers in that county. What site? There's no documented talk groups starting with 3595?.looking for the user of TG 35950 unit ID observed 10996506 can't find in database unless I overlooked it. Sounds like a LE tac channel
It was on the South Cook County site stating three subjects in a vehicle then it scanned away forgot to hit hold. What site? There's no documented talk groups starting with 3595?.
Looks like according to the wiki these have been documented starting with The 35950 and ending with 35962. Just no department is known yetIt was on the South Cook County site stating three subjects in a vehicle then it scanned away forgot to hit hold.
I have it plugged into a second radio I'm going to monitor for the rest of the day to see if they mention anything familiar that can help narrow them down.Looks like according to the wiki these have been documented starting with The 35950 and ending with 35962. Just no department is known yet
Sorry for any confusion. I recently got a Uniden SDS100 scanner and I'm trying to set it up so I can monitor some father away agencies if possible. This question confuses me sounds like you're talking about broadcastify but you as well want to monitor them either way I'll give you my example. One way to do it is program in only the local site(s) that you can monitor from a specific location, put the scanner in ID Search, and with the old pen and paper, document the talk groups seen, then cross reference them with the database. You can search the database by talk group only to do this too.Sorry for any confusion. This morning, Troop 1 & 9 were affiliating on the DuPage and Cook simulcast sites. I also log and program radio ID's which adds to the coolness factor...lol! Troop 1 is still affiliating currently.Pretty cool when you can hear radio traffic from across the state...no matter how you hear it.
