The Typhoons that are at Nellis are staying for Green Flag 2/17-3/3 maybe they're bringing in parts or more bodies? Seems to be to early to be sending them to pack up and leave?

Range not all that great on A400 so maybe couldn't make the West Coast..
Have seen many RAF flights do Australia westbound thru US rather than eastbound.
Navigation,Geoplolitics or just having better aircraft services westbound may be the answer.. Can't say for sure..
Italy delivers RAAF C-27J's westbound thru US to Australia as well.
A400M seems a design in search of a mission.. Cross between C-17 and C-130J and yet does nothing overall superior.
French Military home of Airbus factories even got tired of waiting for bugs and ordered a couple Lockheed C-130J's recently.

Yes California is real mess due to storm as Southwest Airlines and others have
cancelled hundreds of flights.. Maybe the A400M's diverting to more northerly route for now or just hanging back.
