AFFFFB inbound to Andrews 282.375 > 270.275
VENOM1 maybe. Shaw F-16?

1216- To tower, it's a two ship. Sounds like VENT now.

Wish I could hear the Andrews trunked site during the day. That would help in knowing what's inbound.

Travis,

Heard him as Batt 1/Vette 1--not sure

1340 EDT- ???-72 (call missed)-depart ADW then w/ZDC Calvert (281.4) at 15,000 ft " for the delay". Then w/BW (354.0) for entry into R-4006

then RTB ADW.

Saw in database that 82-8000 left earlier this afternoon. I missed him on ATC traffic. According to POTUS schedule he wasn't supposed to leave ADW.

Guys,

Was fishing over by Martin State on Tues and noticed that there are now two blimps/airships tethered over APG.

I wasn't aware that they had deployed a second one. Maybe a little extra for the Pope's visit next week to Philly & DC?

Rgr Ron was always the plan by Raytheon to add second blimp.
The first uses VHF wide scan radar while second is up in GHZ radar bands to more narrowly track targets.
First one still occasionally interferes in the VHF band usually really strong around 135.000MHZ range.

1725z TABOR 31 flight of 4 A-10's inbound Martin State from Iceland today via overseas deployment...CLEAN 82 KC-135 tanker also logged.
