Good news as KC-10's are really needed these days but recently been
having mech problems that need addressing.
Have heard two in last week rtb McGuire with severe alpha 3 problems that scratched missions.
They are getting tired or need some real expertise overhauls.

As a matter of fact, a KC10 declared an emergency yesterday. HOIST 44 reported a wing AR line wouldn't retract.

I ended up tracking these to Connecticut. They're on the way back now, currently over NE MD.

Went out to Martinsburg yesterday to hunt. It's a drill weekend On the way there I noticed a low C-130 parallel to Leetown Rd. Got some pics of it once I to the girlfriend's mom's house. It made a few passes in the pattern. Later in the afternoon while out in the woods saw a Blackhawk with red crosses on the sides go into MRB. Sometime after that heard the props wound out for a while then suddenly nothing. About 5 minutes later I saw ANVIL68 at 4-5k ft over the base turning back to the west RTB Charleston. The C-17s were flying today, only got a brief glimpse of one before heading home.

ANVIL68 95-6709

Just happened to notice N44959 on Flightradar24, a Partenavia P68. It provides the overhead shots for Monday night football.

0919 EST- 2 unid acft (call missed-French speakers)-working on W386 discrete (358.85). Prob French AF Rafales currently at LFI for Trilateral exercise.

They're all out there today, F-22s, Typhoons and Rafales. Using 238.1 249.8 257.07 350.05 & 358.85. Having hard time picking out callsigns since they are fairly weak and then add in the different accents. The Rafales are speaking French on 358.85.

Any one recognize the ID of CASTLE? Doesn't come back to anything. Have 2 C-130 Hercules orbiting west of ACY on 343.0 (CASTLE 06 and 50) Sounds like they're dropping radiosondes. Keep referring to 'sondes".
Edit: Tracked it down from the reg: Comes back to DE ANG.

The DE ANG C-130s out of Wilmington/Newcastle started using Castle callsign several months ago---probably from the Newcastle location
