Guys,

Posted yesterday on another list---was wondering if u guys in WVA/PA have any ideas?

A very interesting aircraft, "IFR200" has been circling between Martinsburg, WV & Chambersburg, PA for hours. Due to its unique identifier, I couldn't find it by searching, and it's not on FlightAware at all. "IFR200" on flightradar24.com.

At night P-3 159504 WARLK28 has been doing just that. On 11/23 arrived about 21;30 local departing about 05:15 this morning. Last night's orbit was at 13000', some nights he's at 5000' or 8000'. Ongoing SNC Hagerstown contract. Screenshot was taken at 21:59 local on 11/23.

RAF Airseeker Aircraft

Guys,

The RAF is now operating several ex-USAF RC-135s, nicknamed Airseeker. The Royal Air Forces's Airseeker electronic

surveillance aircraft the second of three planes bought from the United States at a cost of £650m - operates at high-

altitude relaying intelligence to coalition forces hunting fresh Islamic State targets to bomb. The retrofitted jet, a

converted Boeing KC-135 tanker, started operations for the UK in September.

They are assigned to RAF 51 Sqdn currently operating out of RAF Mildenhall until RAF Waddington's runway is re-surfaced.

The deployed location is Cyprus.

The following at the moment is still a KC-135R and will be converted in due course.

A Uk Forum is reporting AF1, SAM44, & BRETT22 (E-4B 73-1677) due into Ramstein.

AF1 and SAM44 both landed at Paris Orly.

BRET22 (previously identified as EDGE22) hooked up with a tanker east of Nantucket. The tanker was either SPUR60 (58-0030), or 61 (59-1498), KC-135s, from the Maine ANG. BRET22 landed at Ramstein about 3 hours ago.

BRET22 departed Warner Robbins, GA, where they have a 12,000 runway so I'm not sure why they did a mid-air refueling, other than for practice.

German Air Force at Dulles

Two or three times a week, a massive turbo-prop German transport plane lands at Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC. Washington is the command center for German military operations in the US and Canada - a major operation, considering that over 1,500 soldiers are currently active in the region. In Norfolk, the German Navy works with NATO partners on training missions. In Tampa, a German attaché is stationed at CENTCOM, the US central command for the Middle East. In Arizona, German fighter pilots train alongside US pilots. Ammunition, fatigues, equipment, airplane parts and everything else that enters the US for the German military enters through Dulles, where the German military has a private tarmac and its own staff.
