Guys,

Saw this posted on ADS-B Exchange:

B742 SECDEF1 75-0125 28025 ft 0502 Military

Also on Albert's site:

ADFEB6 75-0125 SECDEF1 2016-12-03 17:19:02 E-4B United States USAF | 55WG | 1ACCS [KOFF]

First time I've seen that callsign used

He departed Andrews (missed his ATC departure) and is heading west currently (1745Z) passing south of Columbus OH at FL280.

So Trump is on his way into Fayetteville,NC right. TYSON1 with ZDC 123.025. Another plane said they are the press plane and supposed to be a 2-ship with TYSON1 but KLGA held them up and they should've been ahead of TYSON1. Looks like it's N869MD.

1717- Looks like TYSON1 will circle so the press plane can get ahead.

And why are they landing at RDU anyways? Not allowed at Pope and Fayetteville Regional can't handle a 757?

Guys,

News this morning said that SecDef paid surprise visit to Afghanistan to thank the troops.

Did anyone catch him leaving or returning?

I checked Mode-S database and looks like E-4B # 74-0787 (using callsign Wound 98) was in our area this morning. Could be him coming back?

F-35 on mode-s at Pax. AF351F showing F35LTNG

Earlier noticed E-3B 77-0355 do a flyover at Arlington. Checked the schedule and it wasn't clear who it would've been for, no senior USAF officers listed.

1524- Seeing unknown A/C using A20B17 near Quantico. Alt, speed and squawk indicate helo. Apparently it makes regular trips to/from Belvoir.

Odd was that SCORE 490 heard both male and female radio ops.
On way in says will do loop in R-4006 to lose altitude then straight in for runway 32
switching to 123.7.
Two seat F-35 doing high altitude work?

Army will have 4 Apaches from Fort Campbell

Yea, we flew 1900' below them near Rock Hall on our way up the bay earlier this afternoon. Seemed to be sporting a lighter shade of gray that what you normally see on F-35s, more typical of Navy jets. Could have been the lighting.

Yeah on TV they looked brown looking down on them from above.. Prob some real special paints involved.. I think VMFA-121 is still only active Marine Corp squadron..
Guess Navy two engine F-35C's a ways off yet..
Seems the Apaches's out of Edgewood via Fort Campbell finally brought Army some luck
in victory.. Bout time..
