Most of MD ANG A-10s overseas now. Maybe they couldn't get those left behind at Martin State ready. Was by MTN a couple of weeks ago and there were only about 4-5 left behind in the shelters.

Search ongoing for downed Aircraft in Warren Grove Bombing Range Area,NJ,ATC lost contact with aircraft,USCG Helo has found the wreckage deep in the woods,teams are trying to go in on ground to the scene.

2035z ASCOT 9250 Voyager ZZ335 inbound Dover from San Diego area along heard
ASCOT 9653 "flight of 2" May have been total of 4 chicks..
Same time TALON 18 P-8A 169005 with Pax River VX-1 Ops 341.100 req parking in front of VX-1 hangar req 20k fuel and pushback within 20 minutes.. Sounds like splash and go to get back to NAS Jacksonville.

It ended up being a vintage US Navy plane. Unknown if it was civilian-owned. (I believe it was). Wreckage was found southwest of the range in Bass River state park. Pilot was DOA.

I noticed something different today. I checked adsbexchange for Trump's flight to Indiana and the callsign had changed from the registration to TYSON1. I tuned in ZNY on LiveATC and TYSON1 is what they were using with ATC. Some sort of president-elect callsign? They were still using N757AF for the flight to DC after the election.
Yes also logged TYSON 1 on return North after Thanksgiving weekend and have been told that is a Pres-elect callsign.. TYSON-2 is for Pence.

Sure,Still Civy aircraft.. AF-1 uses VHF as well for local movements though
has UHF capabilities.
