Should be C-21A 84-0124 ...
.... FWIW, I believe this is the "first" C-21A for the 103AW @ Bradley, CT [and the first to receive the "Flying Yankees" paint scheme]. Interesting that it would be flying under DILLON callsign.

REF Tin below:

tnx for that info on 84-0124 and [seeing that I missed the earlier discussion] also 84-0103. Both did come from Peterson .......... legacy databases & systems always seem to linger and linger ...........

John, he's been showing that DILLON callsign for damn near ever - at least the past two years. I think one of his two Mode-S boxes must be programmed with that one since he seems to alternate it with whatever current YANKEE callsign is assigned.

Tin,

RE Swim/WHIM--OK---- I defer to a better set of ears and the "magic" box :)

Ron, I picked up the same E-4B at 1538 departing Andrews and this speaker sure as hell sounds like he's saying SWIM 68 on the outbound. It's very clear too. I only heard him once earlier and he said (I thought) "This is WHIM"....I thought the S in 'is' ran together with the WHIM which made it sound like SWIM - especially since he was displaying WHIM. Now, however, it's clearly SWIM. He just changed from TRACON 118.95 to ZDC-Linden 133.55 at 1545. Your old ears aren't as bad as you thought they were. :)
Oh, and he's still displaying WHIM 57 on his transponder but clearly calling controllers as SWIM 68.

1549: AF 1 (VC-25A, 82-8000) off from Andrews and climbing. (at least I think he's climbing. I haven't seen his altitude change yet. No radio, just Mode-S hit) <-- no pun intended
Nope, not climbing...appears to just be working around the airfield...altitude just changed from 1450 to 1375 feet so may be a VENUS flight.
Okay...got him...it's VENUS 01 but displaying AF1...he's with ADW Twr on 118.4 asking about bleedover on this freq. He's doing some pattern work using runway 1R.
1549: There's also a SPAR 30 (C-37A, 01-0030, 310th AS) climbing out fm ADW. (Ahead of AF1)...118.95
1606: VENUS 01 tells ADW Tower he's receiving New York on this freq and he guesses there's nothing can be done about it....118.4
1611: VENUS 01 reports, "Right base, gear down, option on 1-Right."...118.4
1631: VENUS 01 still making those clockwise circles around ADW...118.4
1635: VENUS 01 asking Tower if he has any idea when the west runway (1L) will be open...118.4
Meanwhile, some JOSAs in and out:
JOSA039 84-0140
JOSA103 84-0098
JOSA113 84-0095
1642: VENUS 01 says he's going to do two more approaches and then a full stop...wants to make sure the barrier is down...118.4
1643: DECEE 12 (KC-135R, 62-3543) on the way home to Andrews
1644: DECEE 11 (59-1469) not far behind.
1647: BATON 73 (EC-130J, 96-8153, 193rd SOS PA-ANG Harrisburg) working at Phillips AAF for some work on runway 22...126.15
1648: DECEE 12 w/ADW Twr for landing runway 1R...118.4
1653: VENUS 01 reports he's doing a "restricted low approach, offset to the right"..." 1-Right, cleared the option, gear down"...118.4
1655: DC 12 and then 11 are both doing approaches, switching back and forth from Tower 118.4 and Approach 128.35.

I just felt the thumping of a UH-1. MUSSELL-7 just turned on to helo Rt9. Rather odd place for him to do so. Lower than usual too.

Ron, those have both been posted here previously. The IAD freq is already used and the DCA Helo freq goes into effect 15 January as you noted.

Tin,

I apologize. The DCA freq was new to me and I don't follow the freqs at IAD so wasn't aware that they had been posted.

Nahh...it's a good reminder. Glad you posted them again. I only mentioned it to indicate Scan-DC has nothing on us. :)

Hmmm...I should continue my log here I guess since I'm scrolling up a dozen messages to add items. Better still....think I'm done for now.

CABAL-71 87-0124 and TEAM-17 chatting away on 139.875.

E-6B 164388 is inbound from the south, heading NE.
2001- Calling maint, 30min out, wants a deer sweep and the usual.

2020- Have Chopper-4 hover around out here for no apparent reason. Only knew it was them after I heard them on 153.05. No mode-s apparently. No comms on JYO unicom either. What's the registration on it?

2024- Now they're on the way south to I-66, just have to avoid all the inbound traffic. I can see them all stacked up myself. Anxious to see the road surface conditions I guess. ?

2052- AE1195? Been level at 5025ft for a while.
2057- Now descending.
