Coronet deployment

Good evening,

Six F/A-18s enroute from MCAS Beaufort to Lajes diverted to Atlantic City, NJ this morning.
They should be departing tomorrow (Sunday) at 1100z as TREND 71-76 with KC-135 GOLD 24.

Hope this helps,

René.

yup
Tuff 71 direct Hancock (near Ulster NY) - 215 PM EDT - from Concord NH - apparently is a B2 that did a flyover at the NASCAR trace in Concord / Loudon NH - 348.70 AM for ATC - just switched to 360.6

sounded like SPAD 21/22 intercepted a small plane and were escorting to a small airport in Hillsborough, NJ.

323.000 ZBW - Devil 11 at 310. Will call MARSA with Cobra

Large Coronet arrival @ KCEF Westover

26-09-2012

Btwn 2002Z & 2116Z 14 A-10's [I think] arrived @ Westover.

TREND 31 x4
TREND 44 x3
TREND 41 x3
TREND 53 x4

The only A2A I caught was on 138.200.

During the same time period I heard GOLD 91 & GOLD 01 check in with PACK Control [321.000] with inbnd msgs.

All aircraft were directed by A/D as individual flights due to local WX conditions, which is why it took so long to get them all on the ground.

All aircraft came in thru Albany, so I presume they are inbound.

Cheers Rene ..... too bad I'm just reading this now ..... I cud have brought my handheld & listened to them @ break.

While on the subject of Westover, I heard what sounded very much like CHOSEN 1 x2 land there Thursday afternoon. Does DC still use that callsign?

TIA

John,

The DC ANG F-16s haven't used CHOSEN callsign for years now. Their "travelling" callsign used to be BRAVE ## but that callsign is now used for real world scrambles & acty w/Huntress. So may they have resued CHOSEN for a travelling callsign.

Hi,

TREND 31-36, TREND 41-46 and TREND 51-56 all departed from KCEF to LPLA today,
they are 354FS "Bulldogs" A-10s enroute to Afghanistan. This was their routing out of KDMA:

CE130.jpg

I see some references to a TREND 21 flight, they were never filed so I think this was in fact TREND 31 flight ...

They should be departing from Lajes to Sigonella this weekend.

René.
tnx for all the replies. The A-10s started to depart KCEF around 0630L last Friday in 3 groups, going directly to the ACK ATC from Bradley A/D. DRAGON x2 departed the area a bit later. They were apparently the spares.

A2A seemed to fall into the 138.X00 range for all flts.
