Picking up 173.5500 in CT. Low signal I think and maybe not enough to get any voice. Know in the am

If you're in Milford as I recall, you should be able to get any site that may or may not be at the Courthouse in Central Islip no problem. Your reception of the other two sites, if it continues as you originally noted, could indicate which is which when it comes to 117 and 122.

Also, checking Unitrunker, no activity noted on 118 since about 10am.

You may be referring to me? Anyway, no change here from my first report.
171.725 comes in with no antenna and my finger on top of the BNC. I would guess this is the Islip repeater, as I can see some Suffolk County towers from my living room.
171.4625 I get with an S7-S8 which is equiv. to how I hear most of the NYC Federal repeaters.
173.550 I do not hear a CC on, just an occasional Keyup or OTAR using $167 with a signal strength of S7

That explains Morristown Airport entirely. Guessing the system will probably see primarily traffic from the NYNJ Fugitive Task Force...
No question on KMMU. Having spent many years there, it is an RF hole. This is spot coverage for the obvious. Nice job @RadioDitch !

I wonder if the common thread may be aeronautical. Thinking maybe KISP and for lower Manhattan the helipad by the Battery, perhaps.

I don't think MMU has anything to do with coverage, but rather USMS/DOJ operations. If you're familiar with MMU you'll know why. I also don't believe there is any common aeronautical thread. Morristown makes sense, no other airport/heliport would outside of Hollywood's imagination. Fairly sure we're going to find the NYC site near West 16th and 11th or the Battery, and the Long Island site at the courthouse in Central Islip.

But they're tasks for tomorrow, not tonight.

The 880xxxx RIN is US Marshals in the NYC area. 880xxxx checked into FIO Wednesday roll call as US Marshals Tact Operations.
My list also confirms 880xxx as USMS

Thats odd, I log that but did not catch any 880xxx.

But either way, took a ride to the court house as dat would flash on my 436 in my yard 1 mile away without an antenna. Received 3 bars at court house with out antenna.

I'm assuming this was Site 122?? In which case, now three down, one to go.

Site 118 RID's thus far have been 8804405-8804411. TG's 30882 and 32601.

Welp, that's Site 117 then. Three down, one to go.

Site 122 is Central Islip.

Site 122 rid's I logged on tg 30882 were 8804409 and 8804456. When I said I had not logged any 880xxxx, I was referring to the monthly FIO roll call.

Just to add, site 117 is being reported as 122's neighbor.

Maybe site 117 is around me in New Haven or something then. I get it like -70DB with a paper clip in the center pin of the BNC. I cannot attenuate the signal any more. My finger touching the top of the connector is enough to inject RF to receive the CC. Without even making contact with the center pin. Either its Suffolk or Bridgeport / New Haven area.
Or NYC at 10KW

Also, checking Unitrunker, no activity noted on 118 since about 10am.
That's odd, I show activity in the afternoon on 118.

That’s someone else. I’m way above Milford. All day on and off I’ve gotten small bits from the 173.5500 but it kept saying provoice then last night it clicked over to NAC 167

If you're getting 167 NAC on 173.550, then you're picking up something other than this system. The NAC on the Randolph control channel of 173.550 is 4F1.

With site numbers that high, there are over a hundred sites to still find folks. 117? 122? 124? Thats saying there are at least 124 sites. I will recheck the local stuff here, willing to bet this is going to be in every major US city.
