I Don't think that's the plan. Flagler has already built out their P25 System, Brevard IDK if they have plans to go P25.

Have you tried using the FMPx Window? In most cases that can be more accurate

I Poped in 851.1 to Unitrunker and it looks like its carrying traffic and based on the affiliations it def is Volusia

851.2 WPJS363 comes back to the state of Florida, the radio service code is GE indicating "PubSafty/SpecEmer/PubSaftyNtlPlan,806-817/851-862MHz, Conv"
unfortunately i don't have FMPX setup, I use dsdfl as passive monitoring.

851.1 does carry fire dispatch and fire paging traffics. It's the frequency and licensing that's interesting to me because ULS doesn't show it. And I think that "State of Florida" license that you've searched belongs to SLERS.

That's what I'm seeing on UT too. Also, The 851.1 Signal seems t be a little weak for me so I'm not sure if it is from the actual Holly Hill site. That's why I asked before in Post #150 what it might be if its not HH. Its funny the license is conventional registered to the state and yet it's carrying Volusia P25 Traffic. Starange

Okay. I did a search on 851.1 nothing showing up expect for Nextel holding.

I did the same, 851.1 isn't nextel holdings. 851.1125 is Nextel holdings.

I don't know if the FCC ULS is down or something but I did another search of 851.1 and WPJS363and got Nothing.

Is strange because if I'm not mistaken in UT the callsign should show up if its a CC. So that leads me to believe it's an alt CC of some sort.

i think since site info isnt on RRDB, the only way for callsign to show up in UT is by having UT decoding the CC BSI. But i could be wrong.

851.1 was the only P25 i could pick up (other than Daytona's EDACS and SLERS) when I stayed at Hard Rock for the holidays. I dont think it came from Brevard or Flager county, as theres no way my cheap set up (consists of an nooelec SDR dongle and stock telescopic antenna) could pick up signal that far south and north respectively. so I'd say that the signal must come from somewhere near Daytona Holly Hill Ormond area.

It's definitely weird. SDR Trunk is showing a WACN: 91F82 System: 00A Site 02 (2). CC 851.1 but no station ID with it or license. Sigal is pretty weak sometimes. Honestly, I think it's something temporary and not in the area, or maybe it is just low power. Definitely a mystery.

this system appears to be in the very early testing phases. It will go up and down many times before it becomes operational.

Ahh ok. I heard it in use like a year ago but nothing now. Maybe I was on during some heavy testing when I heard it in use.

My calls feed last heard the Sanford site 16 hours ago. That's not unusual since I am using a Yagi inside and I'm across the county over on the beach. My reception comes and goes during the day.

I heard today, from ONE person, that Volusia has some (an unknown quantity) of Motorola APX portables running on their new system.

Since I'm never in Volusia I can't go out and look to confirm this. Does anybody have any info on this?

As a full P25 system they don't have to stick to Harris. So it's possible....

Volusia is staying all harris for mobile and portable last i saw. But the APX maybe some surrounding counties for interop i don't know just giving a guess for the APX part

Technically there's no need to get a Moto radio for interoperability and they can do it with a suitably optioned Harris radio instead. BUT...someone has to figure out the programming. There may be issues with that, in some cases. Such as if there is no Harris generated key for the Motorola system in the neighboring county.

Regarding the FR talkgroups (316, 319, 321) in the database, is that information accurate?

I believe what's correct is this:

303 FR Tac 3
304 FR Tac 4
305 FR Tac 5
306 FR Tac 6
307 FR Tac 7

Is anyone hearing West sites today? I have three monitoring units and all three went down at the same time, no change in location or equipment.

Sorry my post was moved to this thread (not my choice). It was the West EDACS site, my monitoring units were down for a week, now back to normal operation.
Unless there is a compelling reason not to - I will always try to consolidate on-topic posts in the appropriate master thread for a system.
