Is anyone hearing any activity on the Volusia County P25 system ? I am new to the area and hear tons of activity on the EDACS system but with my sds-100 I do receive data but no voice on the p25 system. I am in Daytona beach so I don’t think it’s a reception issue.

I am glad to see this comment , I am going to Indian river county for vacation in July and taking kid to the Prince inlet lighthouse which we did a few years ago, anyway I was going to ask if I should program both systems, but from what I am seeing , I guess all the traffic is still on the edacs for now or am I wrong ?

I’m sitting at Buc-ees and when I go to 855.2125 it divert to 851.6125 shows site 10 and there’s nothing on that freq. Than I go to 856.2625 it divert to 852.1375 site 40 and there’s nothing on that freq. Than I go to 856.7125 it divert to 852.3625 site 77 and there’s nothing on that freq. I’m using dsd plus and have no idea why those 3 sites are not working as they should.

I decide to delete the p25 data and network in dsdplus.
851.100 stays on the cc shows 2.2

Soon as I go to 855.2125 goes to 852.3125 showing 10.10 nothing on that freq

Soon as I go to 856.2625 goes to 853.3625 showing 40.40 nothing on that freq

Soon as I go to 856.7125 goes to 853.8125 showing 71.71 nothing on that freq

Very odd how they show different freqs from above. Before I deleted the p25 data and network on holly hill it didn’t stay on the CC it went to 851.0000

Yeah, I think that OTAs are sent over the voice channel.

I was heading home and sat at a different area and the sites control channels changed again. I didn't see 71 at all. I didn't sit long since there was a bad wreck on i95 north bond.

Around 2 or 3 am last night (7/1/25), P25 radio traffic started coming through again on the Holly Hill tower site. LE & Fire. TG’s 104 & 301.

I noticed yesterday on (the scanner) site 40 freq 857.7625 was the only voice channel. I was able to hear Daytona PD and VCSO holly hill side.
On DSDPlus I put in 857.7625 and nothing shows up. Notice was hearing radio check on TG 1279.

Regarding EDACS…. I see new TG 02-103 listed as EMS to Advent Daytona in the DB but when listening to the TG, units are calling it hospital 709 wich is Advent DELtona. Tg 02-082 listed as 709 in the database is dead with activity. Can anoyone confirm what hospital TG 02-103 is?

Interesting. When I tune to 856.9875, I get a P25 signal. It looks conventional, and all I hear is a tone playing constantly.

Overall, SDR Trunk and DSD+ are not showing that frequency as a TDMA Control channel. Unless im missing something.

I aim my yagi antenna to this site 29.28540, -81.06703 again and now dsdfl is decoding Bad Frame Data so idk anymore lol
