Here's our first "who is this?" mystery of 2016:
I'm getting a bunch of hits on site 149 for talkgroups between 3675-3699, RIDs 126xxx. One of these radios I have on the talkgroup for Arlington Heights/Buffalo Grove/Mt. Prospect Fire. Given as how neither the radio ID range nor talkgroups are posted, I have zero clue who this would be (haven't been able to catch any voice traffic either).
Appears 1261xx is one agency, 1262xx is another, and 1263xx is another. I'm also seeing encryption on TG 3686 which is what the 1263xx radios are all affiliated with at the moment.

TG 2950 could be Stateville Correctional Center. It depends on what district 1 site you heard it on. If its site 151 its probably Stateville Correctional Center.
. Yeah I have a few tg's I've added and locked out that I'll get around to adding to update everyone. Last night was pretty funny while listening to various IDOT tg's since many of those guys were big lotto ticket holders!
. I heard some daydreams between drivers, until they realized the lottery rolled over again... 73, n9zasTG2950 not listed but this morning heard TG2914 and 2925 both on T125-Grundy = "ENC"....K3base-Stateville
Any updates on any of these talkgroups or RIDs? Another listener also reported Site 149 activity on TG 3877 a few days ago - that TG is new to me as well.
Curious to know what is meant by "Dist 1 site".....

Just heard another mystery ... 453.6375mhz. P25 Nac293 encrypted... Sc21 tg 1437 encrypted ... guessing to be parole officers, but not in the db. And another just heard @ 14:14. Tg 3769 encrypted of course ... :-( 73, n9zas

Our IDOT was not as funny as what you heard. Make sure you share you list of talkgroups and if they are Phase I or II or Enc. Maybe we can figure out some of them for you.
Oh I know what all of them are, no problem there. These guys are pretty laid back and chat a bit at night. All are Sc21 P1 for now... tg3748 Princeton tg5656 Morton tg3739 Rockford tg3741 Lee tg3738 Carroll tg 3740 Ogle tg3737 Rock Falls tg3736 Henry tg3735 Rock Island county tg3734 Dixon ... tony these are all in the db too. 73, n9zas

. For some reason the db shows tg 3738 as Mc elroy what ever that is, but I hear it as Carroll county usually. I'll post more updates as I hear them. 73,n9zas
Couple affiliations earlier today with 3686, that's it, and no voice traffic that I've heard. I still show RID 126158 affiliated with NWCDS Fire 2.
I also had a couple affiliations on TG 9012, and heard several references on District Chicago channels to "detail is on H" which I thought was 9059. Haven't logged an affiliation since 12/31, and it was from an ISP RID if I remember correctly.

Thanks for your future updates. Someone else reported hearing Eleroy units on TG 3738 when going through their recordings. I'll add what you heard to the database as well.
That was me - I heard units IDing with an "Eleroy" (Eleroy Yard in Stephenson County) prefix talking to each other on TG 3738 and entered the information into the database.
Just heard another mystery ... 453.6375mhz. P25 Nac293 encrypted...
Ogle County Sheriff is licensed for a 10w repeater in Oregon on 453.6375, assumption is that it's used at the jail. No other info listed for this freq in the RR database as of yet. Any possibility this is what you're hearing, Gewecke?
It just might be! I'm close enough, so it makes sense ... hmmm. Thanks, one mystery down lol :wink: If so, that's the only frequency I see them with that's P25 so maybe a tac or car to car... 73, n9zas
