I'd be looking for 1F9 Tulsa OK to be coming online sometime soon. I see a bunch of microwave license apps filed to add Tulsa GO (general office) to the path, from Riverside, Sand Springs tower, etc.

I’ll check it out next weekend. Taking the RV to Garner State Park and will be close enough to check it and Barksdale again.

Also, Carthage TX is still the EDACS island in P25 TDMA land. Odd but maybe there is a data dependent facility that has to be upgraded first before the site goes offline?

Rocksprings is site 5.5, added it in. Nothing from Barksdale yet but the terrain around there is prohibitive unless you get up high or close, of which I did neither with my laptop.

You're probably right. Although Tulsa isn't online yet either. Looking at the Google Map, I wonder if Tulsa coverage is needed. But there had been some microwave activity at the FCC for the Tulsa site in the past month or two. So I'd be looking for Wynona to come online and possibly Tulsa.

I'm guessing you can't pick up 47.47 direct, but that one or more peers of it (such as 18.18) may have been monitored with DSDPlus over time. And over that timeframe, the CC of 47.47 may have changed and it was written to the P25data file. The P25data file seems to be cumulative, meaning that if DSDPlus writes to P25Data the channels in use, it'll never remove them.

I'm guessing that site 18.18 (and maybe other nearby sites you monitor) may have shown 47.47 as a peer before now, and that DSDPlus would have written that peer information to the DB. And that the control channel for 47.47 was different each time 18.18 (or whatever site you monitor) had been checked.

You really should submit that. NOTE: If one monitored 47.47 direct, it would only show one CC and then the alt CCs. But that information that you garnered from monitoring peers of 47.47 pretty much solidifies that 47.47 is Wynona TDMA.

Sweeping through north central Texas today, got several sites on 1F8 with more to come. So far, Avoca, Abilene, Albany, Baird, Cedar Gap, Cisco, Moran, Rising Star all heard and logged with some good guesses such as Talpa. I'll update everything tonight at my hotel.

The only thing (in the wiki) that I am skeptical about is "45.45 prob Ozona" -- stating that 44.44 listed 45.45 as a peer. Ozona is already confirmed as 35.35, and 44.44 in the DB isn't listing 45.45 as a peer). So who knows what 45.45 actually is, or what its even near at this point. I wouldn't trust 45.45 in the wiki at this point.

Very nice job on picking up all of those sites!
