Does anyone know if this site is active on the system? My Unication G4 is on it and not much traffic. It was more active as I was on a different tower (1/27 Middlesex) in Branford a little while ago. Thanks for any help.
I have been getting it on Unitrunker for 2 weeks but only 10-15 voice calls so far. I put it in my Unication when I was in new haven last week and the coverage is outstanding, I was inside mutable building's at Yale and coverage was great indoors.
Looks like it would solve most New Haven PDs issues if they went to it

Thanks for the info. I removed the site and channels from my programming and now I am picking up other local towers and radio traffic.

Berlin now has a handful of TGs as well as Willimantic 911 Dispatch (WW).

Berlin, likely to be the PD. Not yet in service, only tested briefly 6/18
10710
10711
10712
10713
10714
10715
10719
10720

WW - not yet in service, tested 7/2
8911
8912
8913
also seen, couple more Windham groups
26321
26322
I caught a little bit of WW radio service testing over the past couple of days. Need more traffic or a reliable source to confirm, but, it sounded like the following:

8911 - Willimantic 911 Dispatch (WW) Admin?
8912 - Willimantic 911 Dispatch (WW) Incident 1
8913 - Willimantic 911 Dispatch (WW) Incident 2
8914 - Willimantic 911 Dispatch (WW) Incident 3
26311 - Willimantic Fire
26312 - Windham Fire
26321 - Emergency Management

I was monitoring the Troop C site at the time. I rarely hear Willimantic PD1 on the Troop C site however ...

Will they be using troop D simulcast or troop C.
Most likely would be K primarily, but probably would be active on C and D also. May only be active based on registration, but we will see that with time. There was an AFG grant for radios awarded to other area departments last year, so their radios should be coming online as well once Windhams are done, but they'll be operating on the QV talkgroups mostly, I don't know of any new talkgroups being made for specific towns or anything like that.

Windham and Willimantic are dispatched by WW. All 4 FD's on town shouldn't be on QV unless they go mutual aid to the QV towns, no?

I didn't imply that they would be, I'm well aware of who dispatches them.
I think you misunderstood what i was asking, plus i may not have worded it right. I was under the impression something was changing with the Windhams the way you wrote it and were going possibly going to QV and not operate on their own frequencies / TGs.

10711 some activity on this channel it sounds like a fire channel for Berlin. They said they were doing some training if anybody can monitor that channel. And there is also radio IDs that do come up.

I left my radio on overnight to monitor that channel. I did pick up some audio. It is a police channel for Berlin. It sounded like they were doing training, but it also sound like they were doing actual DISPATCH as of right now that is a Berlin PD channel. It could be the main channel or it could be a training channel. and again there is active IDs. I didn't really look at the radio for the IDs, but I didn't see them come up. I was listening to the audio more than anything else. Just putting that out there.

Here's some example radio ids (Source) in the Berlin traffic recently captured... Definitely a PD channel. I also did hear actual dispatch calls as well as units checking in on radio checks all throughout town...

just a heads up to everybody it seems like Berlin PD is full-time 10711 PD dispatch. I have been monitoring they're old system and they're not simulcasting. Anybody wants to put that in the database.
