So Winsted PD has continued to add radios, and they are using OTA aliases, even though the audio is encrypted.

I personally have two radios, a conventional analog scanner to listen to the audio (still open) and my CLMRN radio shows who's talking.

Radio ID wiki listing has been updated.

Getting Weston FD on 25721 & Weston EMS on 25731. A year or so ago I was told they were adding 2 Troop G sites in Weston so maybe those are done and they are moving forward with the change over?

I heard a dispatcher the other evening say to a unit about using "the new radio" so it may be true

Im getting IDs 2175001-2175008 On Fairfield FD. From listening it is always an AMR ambulance going to Fairfield for a call

Never thought AMR would Spring for those expensive radios. Im just guessing they are owned by AMR, But if Fairfield gave them the radios to use I would think they would have a Fairfield ID

Southwest Cmed Coordination channels on CLMRN have been active on and off for the last few weeks.
I Wonder if the change to CLMRN for them is close so AMR would have to get radios?
If you look at Fairfield County area that SW Cmed serves the only departments that do not have radios that can do the new med channels are Darien, Trumbull, Easton, Monroe and New Canaan

IMHO- With the addition of the Fairfield & Weston Troop G system sites, Easton (FD PD & EMS) would be crazy to spend money on anything but going to the CLMRN. Trumbull EMS would be an easy switch (Trumbull FD is already there) and one of the new Troop G sites for Fairfield expanded coverage in Trumbull
Im surprised Darien FD, EMS & PD is not on CLMRN, with the Stamford system and the addition of the Norwalk Troop G sites it looks like the coverage would be outstanding
I attached what i have found for Troop G sites (Yellow) and the Bridgeport & Stamford campus systems (Red) Im sure I have missed some but all the info comes from FCC or MAPRAD.IO | Radiocomms Register Search Tool

Nice map. I thought Wilton has 3 sites?? I could be wrong. Surprises me that Trumbull doesn’t have a more interior site. If it works for them that’s all that matters though.

I think Wilton has 3 but I can't find anything showing them.
Trumbull needs a few more sites but i have no idea if they are planning anything

I was just going by what Wilton was saying before moving up and checking the FCC records for MW sites. Easton FD is going P25 conventional high band with 4 sites, (one receive only). One of the sites co-located with Clmrn.

Does ayone have any tips how I can get the best sounds quality on my SDS-200?

On the speaker it sounds fine, however the stream does not sound so good (using Proscan). Can someone recommend the best filter to use? (I am tuned to the New Britain Simulcast system if that matters)

Thanks!

Interesting and I suspect long time coming for various reasons. Such as to wit: I was once stopped by an "Auxie". He approached my vehicle very officiously and requested that I show him my license, registration, and insurance card. Having taken note the color of his badge, that his hat didn't have the CSP hat piece and the lack of a full stripe on his uniform trousers, my response was "did you call into the troop that you're making this stop?" His face turned ashen. After a few gentle and kind words from me, he went back to his vehicle and I departed.
