Today I notice the LRRP never seen this before on this system. Looks like some kind of IP Address?

Nofix, as it pertains to GPS location, means you just have not gotten a good enough lock but the GPS is working and the network is receiving data.

As far as the IP addresses, if you open up the "Packet Data" window you may see data packets come through in ARS, LRRP, or UDP format. The IP addresses simply treat the system as a computer network where field radios and dispatch centers each have their own IP and communicate like PCs would.

The Status/NoFix messages are the only LRRP messages I get on my system. I also know that my system does not use GPS location so I assume that the Status/NoFix means the LRRP functionality is alive and available but is not otherwise being utilized.

Another thing to consider is that this is one-way traffic unless you happen to be tuning to the input frequency and have a field radio nearby. So if the field radio is what's sending the location data, and you're tuned to the output frequency of the system, all you see is the acknowledge response from the dispatch center.

As I still have questions myself, I'm probably not the best source of information on the matter, I'd recommend checking out this thread:

How would a DSDPlus user not get a "good enough lock" when the gps is transmitted over the trunked channels? Maybe you mean the trunked system/network did not get a good lock, since that's where its data is being sent to.

Or perhaps it's not a good enough lock, but rather good enough data from the signal received.

These brownies are really good.

Watch out with those, and always read the warnings..

Hey, Mr. Pedantic, maybe you mean the subscriber unit did not get a good lock, since that's where GPS data originates.

So Notes.txt says:

Added a "HighPPMerr" display to the event log and channel activity window titles.
This text indicates that the PPM correction in FMPA/FMPP/FMP24 is not adjusted correctly.

Adjust PPM value in FMPx with p/P keys to eliminate the error display.

But PPM is not supported on Airspy. I do get HighPPMerr with my 2 Airspies and typing p / P does nothing. Is there a way to fix this on an AirSpy ?

Follow the procedure outlined in the document at Airspy.Com to calibrate it. Of course, if you don't have a known good signal that is dead nuts on to use for calibration, that might be a problem.

Yeah, I won't have that and don't wanna risk making it worse. So I think that note in Notes.txt might need to be amended to remove FMPA and maybe add a statement saying AirSpy not supported.

How odd that SDRTrunk can adjust the PPM for Airspy devices (including auto-adjust on the fly), yet FMPA can't?
Unfortunately FMPA and FMPP don't have the features that FMP24 has (AM, useful Scan, PPM, and maybe some more that I forgot).
I wrote to the DSDPLUS team a long time ago, but nothing has been done about it, it seems.

This alias decoding is awesome!
I had no idea this information was being transmitted. This really helps me keep my alpha tagging up to date. Thanks a million!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this mean it found 601 pending aliases?
So far any alias I received (5) have all been "dispatch".
