Rock 'n' Roll! ;)

That is what it is all about. I'm tapped out for new digital stuff in central to south FL, BUT several agencies have yet to go to P25. Some have mobile capability now, so I get some new hits on known freqs. Then there is the new ICE stuff that has already surfaced in N. FL on new freqs and one day may pop up in S. FL on new freqs. How would you know if you didn't "scan" for them?

The nice thing about these files is they filter out 99% of false stuff and noise. Images are still a problem, as is to be expected, but at least you don't get all the trash you would get in an open "search". And with Win500 logging you do not even need to be by your scanner to catch the new stuff. Cool!

New Combined VHF/UHF File

I have been looking for a way to cram both VHF an UHF G Band searches into one file. UHF is just too big to combine both with full band coverage. But what if I chop the input end (top end) of the new NTIA UHF band off? This fits! So if you want to search both VHF and UHF using the new NTIA bandplans, at the same time, this file is for you.

If P25 repeaters are used in your area above 415.1000 MHz, then you need to use my older dedicated UHF search file to get full UHF band coverage.

Enjoy!

Hi folks,

Is there a way to search these AND listen to what else I have on my pro 197? Like copy and paste into the srch/swpr mode?

Thanks,

Yup, like all the P25 still here in New England on the old DEA Channels.

Whenever I click on the "Download Files here" link, it opens up another window loops back to the original post.

Anyone having any luck getting to the actual download ?

Thanks.

hey

thanks to sofa king I have been scanning the frequencies 5 scanlist per day. I have found some new frequencies P25.
Here they are
171.6125-$864 413.9750-$156 163.8125-$864 163.0250-$2BD 164.8000-$F8C 164.8000-$3F8
165.2875-$650 170.9375-$167 170.6625-$864
I have not had time to tag this frequencies. I have my scanner connected to the computer logging the frequencies and tones with ARC-500PRO. Sorry for no tags. I still need to scan scalist 11-18> I will post on Friday if I find any new ones in my area.

I am getting hits but no audio. Is this the way it is set up or should I be hearing something. Checking the configuration everything looks good. Is it just me?

On the 164.8000 frequencies I get all three NAC codes $4FE, $F8C, and $3F8. I forgot to put in the post.

probably encrypted stations. Uniden radios mute the audio on encrypted stations (thank you Uniden!). You might hear a quick blurp before the muting occurs.

Are you listening live or recording? On the GRE radios, the channels have to be marked RECORD or you will get loggings without audio.
