The inner chassis is 175 x 70mm. Normally, when DIN mounting, you remove the outer chassis (sleeve) and attach the mounting hardware to the inner chassis.
(Note that, because of some protruding screw heads, the total width deeper into the chassis could be a few mm wider.)

Why do you think I expect them to have it? I am simply pointing out that someone quoted a Jotto part number that was the fit for this radio and I was saying it was not. Jotto asked for precise dimensions of the radio and I simply passed that along to a group where someone might have the radio that could confirm exact hands on it dimensions.

The Jotto faceplate is not a DIN mounting sleeve so I think the dimensions they request are the dimensions that would include the outer chassis. Thanks.
I like my Jotto Faceplate when there a little bigger. This allows me to angle them slightly for better viewing and clearance in my center console. I always mount with the entire housing (not DIN) so I'm not looking for the perfect tight fit. I guess the 425-6129 is too small for the SDS200. What is the outer chassis measurements?

This is correct. This is typically how radio consoles are designed and radios mounted in these consoles would retain the outer part of the radio/scanner.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but how about looking at the pictures of the SDS200 with a tape measure showing the outer dimensions and comparing them to the face plate opening size.

They randomly draw your name from the email hat in hopes you would be so kind to share with those lurking over at radioreference ? My point ? No one I know that pre ordered from bearcat wearhouse got any emails about specific In. Stock date . However bearcat did make calls about correct shipping/ confirmation .

I Preordered from Scanner Master, i just happened to sign up for bearcat’s newsletter the other day to notify me with new info on it, and i just got that email, thats all.

I also was in a chat with someone on the www.bearcatwarehouse.com website earlier today, and he told me that he had heard they were coming next week. I was assuming this was a email for those that pre ordered . An email stating in stock on a certain date . Maybe for sales per the news letter . Who knows . Hey I jump the gun at times .

That is why I put a GPS tracking device on the UPS truck so I know where it is.
If it helps I pre-ordered from the nice people said at Scanner Master, they said to expect the radio delivered sometime in February,
