@Gommert thankyou for the posted info. If you can answer how does the receive sensitivity compare to the 996P2 or 15X?
I'll go back and look again. Must have missed it.Hmmm, I guess you didn’t look at the preliminary info sheet regarding the BCD160DN. The picture and specifications clearly shows two rechargable batteries.
Good to know. If 380-400 Mhz can be changed to AM 25 Khz channel spacing, this will be a very useful scanner for MilAir.88-108 and 380-400 is covered. Default settings for this UHF range is NFM and 12.5 kHz but you can change band defaults.

If I missed it, sorry. But on the BCD160/260DN does 25-512 mhz mean there are no breaks? Mainly is 380-400 mhz covered? If so, can you set the channel steps to 25khz am 225-400 mhz, especially from 380-400 as you cannot on some scanners? Is there an owners manual available?
For the record....you don't sound confused, it was just a joke. Thanks for coming here and answering our questions 🙂Not gonna get political. I'm sure you understand. Jokes are one thing, but politics need not be discussed.
Good info. Thanks. Here's the Band Defaults for the 260. The 160 doesn't include the 1240 to 1300 band.

You couldn't bring it out before the Christmas shopping season? That's a big miss..Please don't hold me to the December 26th date. These are all estimates. Official expectation is Q1 2024 but I'm hoping they come in a little early.
