Hi , I am new to here but old to scanning, Use a 350c mobile and a bc210 base, also have several uniden handhelds and a old lafayette tuneable with 2 crystals that I bought in the early 70,s Scan the central KY area as I travel a bit so I cover the bluegrass, the 350c does a great job using the invisable window mount under the trim piece beside the windshield, Ky is a bit funny about scanners but in 35 years I have never had a problem, I make a point of not chasing calls maybe thats the difference. Get seen at the scene and you may get to have a chat about it. Great site.

I live in London, Laurel County. I listen to all Laurel County police, ems, fire and public safety, ham, and KSP and KVE mobile extender frequencies. There are KSP and KVE units that live around me so i hear them clearly. Live in Daviess county, (Owensboro). Monitor Daviess Co., City of Owensboro, Henderson Co., City of Henderson, Mclean Co., Ohio Co., Hancock Co., Spencer Co. Indiana, Some of Warrick Co. Indiana, Evansville when I travel over there, KSP (Henderson post), and KVE. Also, listen to Jefferson Co. (Louisville) when I travel there, my hometown.

Well - I just recently (yesterday) found this site. I now live in the Florida panhandle (18 months now) but I lived in Louisville for 35 years. I've been monitoring LPD, JCPD, (both now LMPD), LFD, KSP (La Grange, E-Town), Oldham Co. Sheriff, Trimble Co. Sheriff, FAA (Lou. International) as well as a few others for at least 9 years. A lot of the agencies here in Florida are now encrypted, including FHP, so it's been difficult in finding freqs.

Hi, newby here....


Use to play with scanners a bit years ago when everyone had the analog type cordless phones. I have a Regency R1099 base scanner. Its just a 10 band programmable scanner. Not much.

I found this site several weeks ago and just cant stop reading about this crap. Gonna get into scanners again.

I want another scanner but cant make my mind up.

I am in Powell County (go out to the middle of nowhere and make a right, you can't miss us!) and I use my Relm RMV599APlus (VHF) to keep up on the local gossip

I listen to Montgomery County and Menifee counties as well. If anyone is in this area, look me up!

Hi Everyone Still Get Back Up That Way Once In A While, As I Did Last Week Going To Ill Passed Though The Post One Area, And Man Have Thing's Changed In The Bluegrass Last Run Though Kentucky They Were Useing The Old Sys,
(lol) One Channel One Post I Had A Real Hard Time Locking In Ksp I Have All The Frec's And I Know That There Not Trunked.
But Had To Adjust The Sound Qaulity Many Time's To Hear Them And Then It Still Didn't Cut It!

Just Looking For Some Sugestion's?
