Well now. I had quite a few “operator errors” on my programming which was done quite awhile ago.
Fixed the WACN and System ID. Put this updated frequency in. Listened to 769.90625 on my PSR 500 and I can hear it. But nothing n the G5! Must still be missing something. As I am located in Glenmont NY I have to be just as close (or closer) than “diver” to the site and...nada! Zilch,
Of note is that this G5 can pick up the Saratoga 800 system which is approximately 40 miles away. Any/all suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

Most of the rid's I have logged that are 771XXXX and 772XXX are NYS Pd.

With that said, how is the receive sensitivity of a g5 compared to your scanner? Are they using their stock antenna's or sharing an outdoor antenna?

Exactly what's in the DB.
G5 blows away the scanner on multi site systems.
I went down next to the Corning Tower. Nada!
Stock antenna on the G5. All the other system I monitor are awesome!
Interesting that I can hear it on the PSR 500 and nothing on the G5?
Do you have the correct SysID programmed for that site? It's 26E, not 26D.
And while I have the attention of the Capital District crowd...can someone check to see if that "NYS DHSES" site is still on the air? Site 020-020 of SysID 26D, channels are listed in the database. Thanks.

If only this was asked 2 weeks ago. Just came back from Lake George. Had airspy and laptop and drove right thru there.
Check the RFSS and Site in the G5. It’s HEX not DEC....that usually gets most. If all else fails use FF’s and it will work.

I still get out of range on the Mrrrs Corning Tower. However, I’m getting full bars now on the DHSES. Honestly. Totally confused. Must be more errors. But, I Do have the 769.90265 in both systems with the other frequencies listed.
one other thing. Not hearing a peep on the full bars system.

OK I was away for a bit Trying to get back to this.
I am in the same place I was on my previous post. Full bars on the DHSES site Nothing on MTA site. This is on my G5. So I must be missing something if others nearby are hearing it. Any suggestions?

Update. I went through all my settings and found a major error in my programming. Corrected and working on the Corning site. Full Bars here. Nothing on DHSES. But now that its programmed correctly I can go in that general vicinity and check soon. Ive added wildcards to both to see what I get.
