I will be visiting the Milwaukee area in two weeks. Is the city of Milwaukee public safety still
on conventional VHF/UHF?
I see that they are converting to an non interoperability Open Sky system.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Frank

Check out the database, and see for yourself. Just click "Database" to the right of the "Forums" tab.

OpenSky is a type of radio system that is unmonitorable by any scanner on the market. The only way to hear that system would be to buy a police radio and have it programmed for that system. Probably wouldn't be cheap, but if you're like some of us, inquiring minds need to know!
