Update. The mpscs updated today and Ontonagon Police Dispatch tgid 7095 is encrypted all the time.
But 66DRUG, Countywide Narcotics Enforcement is not Encrypted which is 1 that you'd think should be Encrypted. Maybe it's not used.

Yesterday, all of the sites in MPSCS Zone 2 are showing new neighboring sites. Is this a local change, or are others seeing this new pattern across the state?

Same happened with Muskegon County and Ottawa County.

Hope all are well. My inquiry: Van Buren County Sheriff Dispatch listed as - 80P911 #3141
Van Buren County Sheriff LEIN listed as - 80LEIN #3149

All P911 dispatching has been done on 80LEIN 3149 for at least 2 years. I have heard nothing
on 80P911 3141 for the same duration. So, does anyone know why this would be the case?
Should the reference be changed in the database? I realize I can change this on my end
programming. Any thoughts appreciated...

New talkgroup 23494 in Kent County. 9417xx radio ID's. Seems to be a school of some sort. Unable to identify.

Just an FYI - Buckley Fire/Rescue and Mesick Fire (Wexford County) have merged into one department called the Northwest Wexford Emergency Authority. I have no clue if any of the talkgroups have changed or if new ones have added.

Propagation is good this morning and I'm scrolling the spectrum. I see Site 3.53 is an isolated neighbor of 3.49.

Site 3.53 isn't listed in the DB. The CC is/was 853.800. Is that a known new site?

I'm seeing the same thing on site 3.13. Freqency 853.800 is listed in the DB as the CC for the Union site, however the DB shows that as site 3.52. When was in the Union area earlier this week, the site did not appear to be transmitting.

Yes I did that, normally I dont and only one I have ever did that on.
Reason being was I wanted to monitor it, since way it was setup for Hospital we couldn't listen to it on the calls. Ive had that in my radios here - my home county and it was silent outside that small blurb months ago back in early September. As we know so many unknowns are 1 second keyclicks and not seen again.
I checked quite a few times actually on the calls to check if there was anything heard for months since on it. I hear em say they are enroute to mymich bay city numerous times on other TG's and never heard anything till that call you saw yesterday.
Wonder if the ER wasn't setup yet, but ambulances were back then?
This is actually called 09HOSP on MPSCS radios.

Wexford is using 5370 for some sort of paging thing. Heard them tone out Cherry Grove Rescue and EMS Station 3. It's not on the MPSCS but Wexford Co. already has 2 other paging channels for the county and a paging channel for each department (that I don't hear ever used) but why might would they need so many group paging channels?
With kenwood consoles not directly connected to the MPSCS alot of dispatch centers using kenwood consoles create a bunch of different page groups because its still cheaper than the 7500 consoles. Look at benzie county, each fire department has their own page group plus a EMS/station page group.

What are you calling page groups? MPSCS makes the Page Groups, as they have to map them to the towers. I'm not sure how often they are used, by entities other than Washtenaw, as they are quirky.

Up this way, many departments are dispatched on one channel, and then move to their own 'proprietary' channels for operations, or a few shared channels throughout the county. Benzie County has a few channels called '10-Ops' for this purpose.

I used to be able to hear the Manton site which was getting Wexford Co. pages. For these page groups, you only hear the page that comes from central dispatch, then the radio traffic/response to the incident from EMS/FD's are on a different group.
I believe Roscommon is like this as well.

Crawford is a lot more like nvanw27 stated above.

Still in acceptance testing. Supposed to be online end of the month.
I do see a change in number on this database from 3.52 to 3.53? wonder whats up with that?
