Yep, that works great but when you first select "Print" without doing a preview it immediately sends it to the printer, Could it also pop up immediately after selecting "Print" as well?

Thanks

I'd rather not. If I already haave my printer settings set as desired (which is the case the majority of the time), always having the print configuration dialog pop up is just unnecessary clicks to dismiss and print.

I agree with jonwienke in the extra popup. That was my line of thinking when that section was developed.

That's fine if you only have one printer and you never want to print sub-page ranges or modify duplex settings or specify a different paper source etc. and you do the same for every single Windows application you print from, all the time. However showing this dialog has pretty much been a windows default choice for application design since the days of Windows 3. Seems like a single click to dismiss a dialog box is a very little annoyance to ask for.

Been using it since it was made available in the scanner firmware.

Click "Test & Extras" in ProScan, then go to the "Protocol Command" window on the far right and type "MSM,####" (#### = your choice; max appears to be 1000 seconds), then click Send.

I tried that as well and then I realized that obviously there is no way to transfer mass storage data remotely without still having access to the PC. Duh

I use Chrome Remote Desktop to remotely view that PC... I'd copy the mass storage data (i.e. recordings) to my Google Drive, but I'm a little gun-shy at moving multiple gigs like that and using up my bandwidth (either at home, work, or on the road if I'm tethering to my phone).

I just installed the latest version on windows 10 and I seem to be having some recording issues. I have it set on activity but it's not stopping at the end of the transmissions. I'm watching it as I type this. The comms stop but the recording and counters keep going even when the scanner goes back to scanning. The recordings seem to go for 1m and then stop if there is no more activity.

I haven't received any other reports on this so far. I have no idea what would cause this. No changes in the code in this area. Does the activity display(border around the display) go on and off with each transmission or stays on?

I attached a picture. You see no red highlight around the display but the line for recording is still going. and if you look at the times alot of them are 1:01 in time. I can't make any pattern out of it, not limited to trunked or conventional channels, time or day or anything. Even the file names with the times stamps are 1min from start to end.

Something else I have a 2nd copy of Proscan on the same machine recording a BCT15 which is not having this issue. the one with the issue is the BCD996XT.

Not sure what is going on I am running 13 copies of PROSCAN on the same PC with 8 USB sound cards and 3 536's connected URL. I have each copy of PROSCAN installed in 13 separate folders with problems no folder is shared with another copy of PROSCAN 13 log folders and 13 audio folders.

Soo strange. So I put it in record from the DB flag and it works fine. Even Vox as soon as the comms are done it stops. Just on activity it goes on and on. Ahh well. DB flag it is.

Hi everyone. New Proscan user here checking out the trial, running into a small recording / playback issue. This seems to happen on my local PD only, which I have set for a priority on the BCD436HP. Unit is hooked up via standard headphone jack going into soundcard of my Windows 10 desktop.

When the PD sends out a short transmission, that audio gets duped on playback. This happens when playing through ProScan or just opening the MP3. I thought it might be loopback causing the problem (I leave it on so I can hear the scanner when nearby), but I haven't been able to catch it happening on any other channels. I'm going to zip up an MP3 file where I grabbed 3 occurrences from one of the files. When listening live through the loopback, this doesn't happen - only during playback. Any thoughts?

Best,
Tom

Not sure why that would be. I just checked the code and no changes were done in that area recently.

I completely wiped my install directory and reinstalled and it fixed it. It is all good now.

BTW feature bounty still available if you could make a two tone paging system like TTD. Like the program, hate the interface of TTD and for me it crashes every 4 days but I got an app to restart it now.

It was probably an option doing it. Got fixed because the cfg file was deleted and therefore a new cfg file was created with default options. If you had emailed me this problem, I would of sent you test files to see what's going on and which option was causing the problem.

Playback of trunked/800 Mhz freq not working

Loving ProScan!

However, can't figure out why trunked frequencies won't play back. They just blink green when playing. All other conventional frequencies playback just fine.

Am I missing something? Thank you!
