ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

I googled - > "iphone change default media player". It appears the default media player can no longer be set

The built in HTML media player works. If using a third-party player like VLC, It may work if you enter in the stream URL in VLC like this:
https://mysite.org:5000/stream.m3u Off course, change it to your needs. "stream" is the stream name.

{edit} I think I have to hide the "Listen Live" link when iOS detec

It works on iOS 27.0.1. When you clicked the Play button, did it change to Pause.
Using Chrome.

Found a solution! Bob, yes, it changes to a pause like it always does but no audio is heard. Did some sleuthing on iOS bugs and found an issue whereby live audio streams go silent when the stream sends embedded audio info. The page shows no error and doesn't register a pause, but the phone's audio service has disconnected. So, I went to Web Server (and stopped it) -> Metadata Source and unchecked Text To Show When Scanning and selected the None radio dialog button. Launched the web server again and it now works fine.

Thanks for the info. I'll run test to try to duplicate the problem and see what can be done. I believe the metadata in the audio should be filtered out before it reaches the iOS level.

Using this for the player: icecast-metadata-player
