SDR# Issues...

use sdr# 1732...I had a hell of time getting it to work in sdr# 1810

i bought a sdr a long time ago and didnt work in my computer but and i kinda feel ok because i connected in my cellphone and used Sdrtouch but now i want to connect directly to my computer and use normaly but... i think Zadig is trolling me lol. i opened the sdr and found a chip saying 2832u in it but Zadig identified as 2838u, this can mistake can make the sdr to not work properly ?

Reason is your chip is a Chinese clone. Zadig will install the driver for it but I think you need a script or it is complicated. the driver will work but not without minor flaws.

i have it for a long time now and i cant connect it in my computer, i installed Zadig, installed drivers always appers error or no sdrs found. example below

softwares that i tried using (SDR#, SDRuno, Virtual Radar)

Make sure you have the right USB port selected, I ran into that before.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you should try version 1732 of SDR# as suggested by

use sdr# 1732...I had a hell of time getting it to work in sdr# 1810

Connect SDR dongle to USB port of computer and make sure you are connected to the internet.
Click on install-rtlsdr:



If you are not connected to the internet when you click on install-rtlsdr, this is what you will see:



If you are connected to the internet when you click on install-rtl-sdr, you should see this:





Install Zadig driver:



Check Device Manager for your device:



If you have a problem, please show us a screenshot of your computer screen using prtscr key, paste into Paint, and make it an attachment to your post.

In order for us to help you, we need a screenshot to see the problem. Just saying "it doesn't work" isn't enough.

i did everything, downloaded Zadig, installed all drivers and nothing is working, probably is with my pc idk, when i connect to my cellphone by otg cable works well

Thank you for the image of the Device Manager. That shows the driver for the device is OK.

What happens when you click to open SDRsharp?

I see you are using SDRsharp v1810.

Thank you for the images. You have to select your device as the source.

When I don't select the source, I have the same problem.



I will show you how shortly.

Click on Menu and select Source:

That's good, but you must leave Radio there and have Source below it. Don't X-Out Radio. Like this:



You need to have Radio there for its Settings.

I have selected NFM mode for this signal and moved the Zoom control up to make the signal wider:

Is the dongle in the Device Manager?



If not, then start the setup again from the beginning.

If that doesn't work, your dongle probably doesn't work with SDRsharp software.

You need to order an RTL-SDR.COM V3 dongle when it becomes available:
Buy RTL-SDR Dongles (RTL2832U)
