Click on Source in Menu:





If your device doesn't show in the RF gain window, it probably can't be used with SDRsharp. Order an RTL-SDR.COM V3 dongle when it becomes available.

There is one more thing you can try which sometimes works: Unplug the dongle and then reinsert it to give your computer a second chance to recognize the dongle.

Sorry I wasn't able to help you. If your device shows in the Device Manager, but doesn't shown in the RF Gain window, it probably will not work with SDRsharp. Although you used v1810 when I told you to try v1732, it probably wouldn't work in 1732 either.

I reviewed the posts in this thread and realized that I had assumed you would know to press the Play triangle to start the program; my mistake.





After making sure your device shows in the Device Manager and selecting the Source for your device, please try pressing the Play triangle to start the program before pressing the wheel to open the RF Gain window.

I did some experiments with my RTL-SDR.COM V3 dongle and the SDR# software. Sometimes it remembers the dongle as the Source right away, and sometimes not:







The main point is after you make sure the dongle is listed in the Device Manager and you have selected the dongle as the Source, you must then press the Play triangle to start the program.

I am using the SDRSharp 1732 with Airspy. I notice that the signal reception change when is used in a different PC. The SDRSharp has exactly the same configuration, identical in both P'C's.
What can be the reason?
