Ok that is a way, thanks did not try that possible. Use scan range rounded 440.00000 to 450.00000 because there is also new DMR network below and above PMR that use the 12.5 / 10 kHz step, in fact 2 new network so thinking, pick all users in one scan range for logging in manager ;)
Configure each range correctly and then highlight each that you want to be seached during the session before clicking 'scan'.
If only there was a really good pdf about using the plugin........

Fastest and most stable way of scanning remains V1700 and thewraith2008s enhanced scanner plugin
Hi Morfis, thanks for this tip. I've been running v1716 with Vasili's last fast scanner for some days now.
Will give v1700 with v2 scanner a go too. Happy to be back to the pre fancy themes era (y)

Hi there,

I'm also running SDR#1784 with the same theme ("Fluent Dark"), but I can't properly read frequencies saved in Vasili's Frequency Manager because it shows white caracters on a white background ...(actually, only a selected entry is readable - see pic).

Wondering why yours looks fine with white caracters on a dark background ...

Could you share the Freq Man version you're running please ? (though I'm supposed to run the latest one, from march or april 2018

freq man.JPG

FreqMan (Vasili's alternate Frequency Manager) already does this.

Download from Vasili's website or is there another version as well? His plugins are generally confusing as his own updates never seemed to be made clear.

Thanks.

The 'built in' one displays fine with the dark theme. The main reason people want to use the old Vasili version is for the ability to scan in a way more akin to a conventional scanner memory setup.
If you mean the customised dark version of that shown in the screengrab by 'thewraith2008' then there is currently no download as it's not a 'public' release.

Ah, I see. It's the Frequency Manager that displays the received frequency/station in the main spectrum window.
It says it has an adjustable size font. It seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
I find the text in the Frequency Scanner Channel Analyser window slightly on the small size. ( It's an age thing ! )
Thanks anyway.

This is the one I mean. ( Not my setup, I just found it in another forum ) Seems to be exactly what i need.

That is the one written by Vasili and available with his other plugins on his website.
The person who's image you copied goes on to say " Im still using the original scanner plug in that comes with the community package "

Whilst the use of 'original' is strictly incorrect as the plugin is NOT part of standard sdrsharp it does give a secondary source.

NB. This version will only work with some of the Telerik Themes as it was written several years ago

+++++++++++++++++++++
and appologies to everyone looking for 'frequency scanner' discussion as this is thread drift

Ok, no problem. I thought there may have been a later version available somewhere.
I think I'll set up another copy of Airspy 1784 and associated plugins and see what happens.

Installed another instance of SDR# 1784. Deleted the original Frequency Manager.dll and Magic Line.
Copied the ancient Frequency Manager .dll and Magic Line downloaded from Vasili's site.
Started SDR#
Ticked "Show Names" and "Only Active" in the configuration. Enlarged the font to a comfortable size.
Result - Perfect !!! Exactly what I wanted. :D
I can now read the received station from miles away. (y)

So hopefully @thewraith2008 will soon agree to share its upgraded version :p

Vasili's one works well, but only with clear themes. With the dark ones, the problem reported in my message arises (white letters on white background).
The one I currently use was downloaded from rtl.ru website : Обновлен FilePlayer и FrequencyManager
To my knowledge this is his latest release of this plugin. He was supposed to work on the issue with the dark themes, but he's been probably too busy.
