It takes a LOT of site
Im not to concerned with OpenSky mapping being accurate due to the fact its unmonitorable. I put it there so I can be aware of where I need to watch out for receiver overload.

Makes sense

Do you know of a fcc license for it? It's not listed in db.

Sorry No idea of the license .

The Woodford county site at Cazenovia is showing signs of life. CC 854.3375 and NAC 145. No traffic but it must mean we're getting close.

The Cazenovia site is showing neighbors 216 Metamora, 259 Minonk, 249 Peoria County Simulcast, and 252 Arrowsmith. It does not list Congerville as a neighbor site either. The site has only had a couple of data connections so far, no voice.

5806 is still a patch of 453.55 and will be for a while since no towns are on SC yet. From what I've monitored over the past six months based on RID's it appears they have 5806-5816 for LE TG's, 5817-5819 for EMA and I don't know how the usage is going to shake out.

Woodford county switched to Starcom at 4PM today. The 453.55 patch on TG5806 is gone and regular dispatch traffic is originating on that group.

Doing a quick FCC search, the only license I see in the state for that frequency is held by Fulton County with a trunked site in Astoria. Probably ducting to make it that far although it seems a little early in the season for that. ULS License - PubSafty/SpecEmer/PubSaftyNtlPlan,806-817/851-862MHz,Trunked License - WREZ712 - FULTON COUNTY EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SYSTEMS BOARD
License also covers repeaters on 851.300, 852.0625 and 853.200. Location listed on the license is the Astoria water tower on Green Street, a few blocks south of Broadway (US 24). Is anyone in that area able to determine a site number?

Can we get site 1.13 (Will/Grundy) changed to ISP District 5 simulcast? There are towers in all 3 of district 5's counties covered (Kendall, Will, & Grundy)

Isn't it labeled as Will County Simulcast?

1 (1)013 (D)Will/Grundy County SimulcastWill, IL769.08125769.90625770.15625770.65625770.90625a771.30625771.88125

Doesn't say "Kendall County". But it covers that too. I have it in my radio. I just assumed there was coverage there. D-5 comes through on the Ottawa tower and I believe the Kane County SMLCST, and also on the Kankakee County SMLCST system as well. The locals just come through on the "Will/Grundy" site.

You're correct..District 5 isn't isolated to 1 site. I hear them on both Cook & DuPage sites, but almost all Car to Car traffic is on the DuPage site from my location.

I think there is a tower in LaSalle county as well for the Will/Grundy(Kendall/D-5) system, just north of Seneca. I'm not splitting hairs. When I go that way, I turn sites on and off manually on my 996P2. I'm sure I'm missing some transmissions, but it works reasonably well.
