I got this reply from Don today. Installed it and it works.
That should be addressed in the latest version (1.98, released
today) of Win500.

Testing Felton tower today

They are testing Felton tower today on all freqs. It sounds like they are talking to a bunch of first graders with the sayings.

Hello,

PRO96COM now shows neighboring sites. The Control Channel for Newark is 771.13125 MHz.

TGs 209 and 9099 are a Patch. Here is the Patch Log:

9003-->209
9020-->209
9032-->209
9044-->209

There was a TG of 9008 that was testing sites downstate and was monitored from the Wilmington Site today.

any updates on this? anyone hear any possible startup dates for users or what it will be used for? I hear rumors that the original intention of DELDOT is not going to happen now

Could someone down in south Delaware take a Pro96com reading of the system because I was down in Dover recently and my computer displayed some extra sites supposedly connected to DELWIN. Also I read somewhere in the original Tyco press release that there are supposed to be 10 sites in the system.

Here is the data I received. Initially I was confused with this as there are only 8 sites logged in the database, but the System is 001 and WACN is 9254A, the same as DELWIN, so I guess new sites are being added. I still would like someone in the Felton area to confirm this.

I hate to be redundant as this link is also on the first page of this forum, but for ease of access, here it is: Tyco Press Release

This gives details about the system, claims the implementation of 10 new sites in Delaware, and mentions interoperability with the Delaware 800MHz TRS and other systems in PA, NJ, and MD.

I appreciate any and all feedback.

The idea for this system was that it would take some of the traffic from DELDOT including the bus and Dept of corrections. This would free up the 800 system for what it was designed for Fire Police and EMS and other emerg. services. The way it has worked out the only ones that will benefit is corrections. From what I hear they still have to carry radios with 800 because the 700 isnt working out.

I'll do the same starting tonight. I'll work thru the NCC sites if you can grab what you can central and south.

I'll grab ID's first, load them into the Home Patrol and let it record TG audio while moving to the next site.

Do you know if it is simulcast similar to the state system with 3 zones basically?
A bit different from the true simulcast 800 system. Not sure the exact flavor of the system so it will be interesting to share activity logs from UT.

I'm running v 1.0.0.21. Seems to be the most stable release.
