Thanks for the update. Had AE5C8F 15-00338 RO-6-A (photo below) on midnight shift circuit last night, just had a visual on AE66C3 at 21:20 local, the southern end of the usual circuit takes them directly over my house, sure not as noisy as the P-3's they used to have do the overnights.

Guys,

Pic of former Northrop Grumman Test Facility T-39 now on display at the National Electronics Museum in Linthicum MD.

If you're ever in the Baltimore area a visit to the Museum would be worthwhile stop.

I see tankers over where POTUS is all the time on my radar and also ADSBExcange but obviously I never pick up the fighters. Do the fighter typically do racetracks in line with the tankers or do they more come and go then hook up when they need a fill up? Seeing the tankers is obviously very common to me but I never get to see fighters. I haven't been able to find much info on what is usually flying when POTUS is out of DC. Thank you!

Maybe someone knows more about this but to my knowledge the CAP fighters are usually in a racetrack-type orbit in the same general area as the tankers but a a different flight level.

I don't know how they do it in NY, but for the Guard Dog CAP I've heard them say one in the north and the south, counter-rotating orbits. I think it may vary.
