Dangit! Missed an AN-124 (UR-82008 flight ADB5051)coming into Dulles earlier about 1800 while I was at my mom's. Oh well, it was dark anyways. First time for that into Dulles.

Anyone know of a helicopter hovering over the eastern part of woodbridge right now?
It has been hovering for about 45 minutes now. It is very high but looks mostly white maybe alittle bit of green but im not sure.

If it is that one it would be doing either a surveillance or overwatch for a raid.


N578AE also a DHS AS350, came up later, about 1940 until 2100 before I lost it. I'm pretty sure they have a least one UH-1 without mode-S. That's always a possibility. Keep on ear on 133.1 Manassas tower and 124.65 to hear them come and go.

The times you posted are pretty accurate to when I heard it overhead. It left around 2100 last night.
I will be listening to those 2 freqs you posted if he is overhead later today.

I saw some sort of probable Coast Guard aircraft today around 1430 flying on the Potomac to north of the Rt28/Rt7 intersection in Sterling, VA. I would imagine a helo because that is a standard route for the, but I really couldn't tell. It looked orange and white, not like the HH-65s I've seen around here that are mostly orange.


Some visitors to ADW today were:
French Air Force F-RARF A330 and F-RAFB Falcon 7X, arriving between 1045-1100 and then departing between 1550-1615.

Unknown German Air Force (3F857F) GAF685 into Dulles about 1420.

2220- N315CR heading west from BWI again to do whatever it they do out west.
