Guys,
0845- Epic 42 (unid helo)-w/ADW tower (118.4) advising inbound to ADW after pax drop off at FedEx field.Poss id'd as H-60 by other acft. Will be at ADW for about 3 hours then return to FedEx field to pick up pax.
Anyone catch him on their box? Had odd sounding xmitter
Just a friendly fyi... Epic 42 (and sister ship 43) belong to West Point's 2nd Aviation Detachment and are based out of SWF. They are UH-72's.
DRAGO51 flight, should be 4 F-18 overflying the Army-Navy game. 335.5
There is a DRAGO52 flight too. IDed as flight of three. They're heading back to ADW.
51 is looking for higher.
Does anyone know what unit did the flyby? I know DRAGO is just a standard flyby callsign. I figured there would have been more coverage of who had flown into KADW for the game. I am just curious to compare, since this is the first time in a while that the game hasn't been in Philadelphia.
Does the Coast Guard have a new #102? Today I logged AE4E05 with an ID of C102. It looks like it may have landed at DCA or ADW.
Travis,
I believe they do---I remember reading somewhere that they had returned CG 102 to the original owner (it was only on lease). I'll see if I can find out anything on the new one
Ron
Travis,Would the new CG 102 be a C-37? This site says they have two of them. C-37A : Platforms : CG-711
The only one I know of and can find pictures of is 01.
102 is inbound for DCA right now.
