Is there any way to change the software to correctly recognize the correct Mode? RR database shows a listing as FMN and when it is pulled into the program the Mode apparently doesn't recognize FMN as NFM and populates the column as AUTO. This aggravating since all of those have to be changed. It would be a great help if this could be corrected.

Rectangles

I am attempting to not cross post here but do not know any other way to ask this question. When I change my selection from Circles to Rectangles it does not give me the required extra fields for my Lat Long. Any ideas here?

I have Build 11, simple question. When downloading a trunk system from RR it imports just like before. When I go to write to the scanner I see a new GUI. How do I write the system to the scanner? Not mentioned in the help manual linked to the program.

Thanks

I have to look into this. In current version this can not be set.

Butel Software

In sentinel you can but not in ARC536. This has led me to abandon ARC after I paid all of the money for it. It is very disappointing that the free software is out performing the paid software.

Using a UBCD536-PT and ARC536 Basic V2 Build 11, it will not recognize the radio (using usb). Sentinel recognizes and reads / writes no problems at all.

Switch to ARC and continually get the 'can't connect to radio error'.

Radio shows up in in device manager as UBCD536-PT correctly.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. No other usb devices connected. Tried different usb ports (2.0 and 3.0), sentinel connects fine but ARC just will not connect.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You might try a computer shut-down and re-start. Sometimes a given piece of software will either capture or lock-up a com port thus preventing ARC from accessing it. The shutdown/restart releases com ports.

Thanks, I have tried that. Also tried 3 different usb cables (it never came with an original Uniden OEM, are they any different from a standard usb A to usb mini B?). Sentinel connects with all of them so I don't think it is a cable problem. Also tried a laptop (Win 7 32 bit). No go still. Firewall is fully open for ARC too.

The radio does have the Uniden Australia firmware update 2.1 installed (which corrected a few minor issues).

Is anyone else using ARC536 ok with the Aus 2.1 firmware installed??

Using Version 2 Build 11 I've run into a problem. I updated a Favorites List and then uploaded it to the scanner. I opened the Edit window and checked only the Start Up Key I wanted to use for this FL. I then uploaded to the scanner. Upon restart I discovered that the FL would load on all Start Up Keys.

I rechecked the selection and uploaded again, thinking maybe I did something wrong. Same thing.

Am I missing something? Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.
