The hospital is 20 York Street. 15 York Street is actually a Yale University building, so I would suspect this system is all for the University.
Definitely something to keep an eye on. It would make sense if all of the different entities ( PD/Hosp. Security etc.) were under the same system just different Tgs. Makes it easier for interop purposes.

15 York is a 10sty building with 3 or 4 uhf repeaters on the roof that are the University's so it would make sense
But 30 York st (On the license) is still the hospital (2-62 York)
At the time (2 years ago) we were told it was being built out so the university Police would have portable coverage inside 90% of their buildings and if New Haven PD/FD wanted to jump on they could add 3 sites and have city wide in building coverage.
At that time Yale PD was going to go full encryption, It was over 2 years ago so everything might have changed but I thought I would toss out the interesting info

We were also told that an ASR was going on the train yard building behind IKEA for better coverage in the train sta for MTA and Amtrac Police

I'm trying to Listen to Troop K off the K tower, while in Troop H territory. I can't pick up K off the K tower, does this have something to do with the recent upgrade? I could hear them before they got the additional channel capacity.

I guess it depends on your location. Sine the updates, I actually can receive the Troop K simulcast site with the long duck on the G5 here in the living room. Control Channel here is 853.9125

I reprogrammed the XG-100M's with more site information and they now RX just fine. This is only a problem with the K tower.

did you update with the new control channels for troop K simulcast?
I did have those in there and it still didn't lock on to RX. I changed from Enhanced to regular Proscan, and reinputted the frequencies from lowest to highest and boom!

Anyone hearing Avon? I’m hearing fire traffic on TG 10421. Dispatch side is good, but all other radios sound unintelligible in my setup. I’m scanning Troop H simulcast, lots of other traffic without issues. Using sdrtrunk.

everything today is a patch from UHF. It has to do with the quality of the exiting system and the patch setup. If you see 4xxxx RIDs, that is users talking directly on the trunk system.

Still in use. Avon is not putting enough radios in service to cause issues. There is room for 3000 each mobiles and portables so little chance of not having enough.
CTTransit is a lot of 45xxx and some 46xxx radios. The few Avon portable radios I have seen are 44xxx

In the DB, the only five digit 3 series TGs are used in New Britain. They're all 389xx as well.
(An extension of their TG series 189xx).
